Some salient points from George Washington's Blog.

Those goofy 9/11 truthers are trying to say that because a raging inferno in China didn't cause the building to collapse - when it was roughly the same size as World Trade Center building 7 - that shows that building 7 was demolished. The truthers point to other raging infernos, also, where no collapse occurred.

And they point to [color=darkblue]numerous structural engineers, architects, scientists and demolition experts who believe building 7 was intentionally demolished.

But these think-they-are-smart whackos forget a basic fact . . . China is a communist country.

In fact, China has never signed any treaties binding the country to the modern laws of physics. Sure, they have adopted many Western ideas of capitalism, and they looked really modern during the Olympics, but don't let that fool you. The Asians have only partially adopted Western ideas and theories.

While the physics principle of "thermal expansion" governs in the United States, and thermal expansion is part and parcel of the American ethos (official government press release), that particular "Western" principle has not been adopted by the communist Chinese regime.

9/11 truthers are simply naive about geopolitical realities in non-Western nations. The morans.

Yeah. An official government press release says that 'thermal expansion' is part of the American ethos? Good one... That a law of physics is a 'Western principle'? Good one...

Sorry, but this whole rant is a typical close-minded North American view of the world...

Because somewhere is not America, their building standards are not up to scratch. Because somewhere is Communist, well by golly gee, we're all Better Dead Than Red.

Are you trying to suggest that they're backwards because they're Communist? That they're corrupt? Never seen any corruption before in Free Democracy United States? Never heard of Madoff? Never heard of bailouts?

I'll bet my house on the fact that this person has never even been to China, and has NO idea or proof of Chinese construction and engineering standards. Nice going... keep bagging China for making nothing but rubbish, but just overlook that all of that plastic crap you guys buy in Walmart comes from there. In fact, YOU'RE their biggest importing nation.

The biting irony is that you're insinuating that Communist China has backwards, third-world, 'communist' building practices, unlike the heavenly United States, but THEIR BUILDING REMAINED STANDING!!! You had three fall down, only two of which were hit by planes.

Scorecard:
China 3
United States 0

In fact, China has never signed any treaties binding the country to the modern laws of physics.

Riiiight... can you name one treaty the US has signed which binds the country to modern laws of physics?

Morans? Hmmm... where have I seen it spelt like that before? Oh yeah...

No, no... you're interpreting correct. It's just my response! Not directed at GoldenFleece... just at the situation!

Reading the quote in the OPs post I was put in mind of the Bush supporter who phoned into Coast to Coast AM to complain about all those critics of the (then) president and how it was incumbent on like minded Americans to continue to support the president in the face of this barrage of backbiting and catcalls, since the president was on the right course for America.

Another issue that really made him mad was the porous border with Mexico!?!!!

Bush-border-Mexico-porous-connected-yes-no-I think so-but not in his mind.

Thanks Goldenfleece, It is refreshing to see a bit of humor added to the discussion. It gets so tedious and stressful to try and follow all of the back and forth of these issues, one needs to step back from it and realize the true implications as depicted below:

Non-compliance with accepted principles of gravity is just the tip of the iceberg. For the official conspiracy theory to be true there would have to be even more powerful forces come into play to assist in defeating rules of gravity. "We are talking ferocious heat generated by this ghastly kerosene, capable of completely vaporizing 65-ton aircraft. Also, it appears that the evil psychic power of those dreadful Arabs knew no bounds. Even after they were dead, they were able, by the power of their evil spirits, to force down the tower at a speed physically impossible under the laws of gravity, had it been meeting any resistance from the fireproofed steel structures originally designed to resist many tons of hurricane force wind-- as well as the impact of a Boeing passenger jet straying off course." proliberty.com...
