poor koala.

So, how is this Koala different from a human being in the way it behaves? Don't you specieists out there think if you were too fat to move and trapped in a fire you would appreciate help?

This koala accepted the human's help. Other lifeforms, not so lucky.

Oh yeh, to all those hurt in the bushfires, hope nothing too serious happened =\.

yeah that poor koala got burnt by the bush fires. the paws/soles of its feet had been burnt off and were red and sore. These guys got a call out and had to leave the koala there but it got picked up 3 mins later by wildlife Carers. I saw it in the paper with bandages on its font and hind legs. it's on anti-biotics and is looking well. The bloke giving the koala (nicknamed Sam) has gone to see it. it's fine.

But it's a very good story in all this carnage

Yeah! I just saw this koala on CNN she had burned paws sitting on the floor in someone's kitchen, but she looked really calm with all the lights and flashes around her - soo cute!

Btw! great photo of when he gave her water from the bottle in the bush.
