I do not trust M. Moore. I think when he started out making his films he was sincere, but now he has gotten a taste of fortune and fame. Greed gets to most!

Hmmm, this is kind of what I thought too. However, maybe I am mistaken, but I think he comes from a well off Catholic family. Money hasn't really been a huge issue for him. So this argument may not be valid on the fortune front. However, his fame may be a valid point. Once he started getting noticed he became a little bolder in his claims.

I don't know if I trust him but I do know that I am smart enough to know how to research what he presents. If I find that he is lying then I bring it forward. If I validate what he is saying then more power to him. However, I refuse to slam him or his movies because I don't fully agree with him. We need people that are willing to ask the tough questions.

Also, I don't believe he hates this country. I fully believe he loves this country. I just think that he feels there is simply too much waste going on with too many needy people getting nothing. That's a tough pill to swallow when we are supposed to be the only super power on earth and one of the wealthiest nations ever. Kind of ironic how this is his message and people get pissed about it.

I too use to have some doubts about him before...

But, since I PERSONALLY (how many of you actually did?) experienced health care in few another countries, I realized how much American public is brainwashed into believing that the one we have now is the best in the world, sad, really...

I support anyone who is trying to contribute towards improving this experiment we call the USA. Those who do nothing are those who usually complain

Yes, I had to go to Thailand last year to get affordable health care.

I could not afford needed surgery here, so I went to Thailand, put it this way.... the whole 1 month trip cost me 11k.... with surgery and all kinds of complications, and complete health, MRI the works, including my hotel and food.

The cost here, due to complications would probably have been over 100k.

I saw Sicko after that, I have to say, he at least tried to get much needed information out.

The govt. has gotten people afraid of a "National" Healthcare.... but we need it.

OH, BTW: I had the BEST healthcare, I have ever had in my life in Bangkok, and believe me, I have had A LOT of healthcare and hospital situations here.

Nor does it make it correct.

Exactly. So why bring up the fact that he's partisan in order to discredit him? It's irrelevant.

People just need to own up to this and quit thinking he is doing real journalistic work.

People don't "need" to think like you. I think people can think whatever they like.

The problem with Michael Moore isn't that he's partisan or that he's biased. It's that he fabricates and lies. F911 and his Columbine propaganda pieces were full of them. Sicko was 1/2 and 1/2. If he'd stuck to the truth he would have been able to do a great job. Instead, what truth he put forth was overshadowed by the lies.

So true....I don't like OR dislike MM, but do give him credit for trying to Alert the Mass Population. Even if he opens the eye's of millions and alert them to whats going on is a plus in my book.

If he does not have the proof in front of him the MSM will slam him on air, I've seen this happen on a couple of times.
