Fighter jets scrambled after UFO follows plane over Athens

The object was spotted by the pilot of Olympic Airways flight 266 from Athens, and the sighting was corroborated by staff at Athens Airport and a nearby Greek air force base. Pilots of two other passenger jets also reported seeing the body.

The eyewitnesses described it as looking like a large star, although it was moving erratically and constantly changing shape.

I thought I would post because it sounded interesting that independent pilots in different planes reported the incident

The star says
“Experts believe the three-hour sighting is one of the most credible ever recorded.”

And

“Greek air force chiefs confirmed they were “visually monitoring” an unknown craft from a radar station near Athens.”

Sorry folks it appears this just fell through the cracks.
Take a quick look perhaps it doesn’t sound that exciting but it was reported by more than one aircraft.

That's alright, everyone just prefers to discuss the bird-- oh sorry, I mean the UFO with wings and a beak photographed in the other thread.

I find this very interested. It's a bit of a downer that there's no sort of footage but the fact that the pilot knew it wasn't an airplane is substantial in itself.

Hate to do this to you mate but it's been discussed a few days ago...
