disturbing rascist mail

before you read any further i am not a rascist. this was mailed to me from someone working at a corporation. has anybody else received it? could it be an attempt to further try and destabilise the country?
This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is.....

This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points...
Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.
And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'.... and that's OK.
But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-'n-word', Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
You have the NAACP. You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud... But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??
There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will. That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves!

Why are his neighbours so rude to him; and why does he feel the need to use epithets at all?

The rest of his points are semi-valid, but that rant above perplexes me.

At the risk of opening up a can of worms, I think the black institutions mentioned exist due to a form of self-segregation by the black community elders. Black scholarships exist because in an open scholarship (open to all races) competition, blacks would never get near 10% (proportional to their population).

Basically they create the institutions because they feel that they need them. And why have an American Greeks association, or American Arab assoc? Because they are specific social sets who would like to socialise with each other. A white person who subscribes to no other allegiance isn't likely to feel the need for such an association because its more than likely his neighbours will be white.

By no means would I object to the creation of "white" institutions, but I believe that most of my white friends feel they are unnecessary.

Meritocracy is sufficient for the vast majority of the competent. Only those who cannot stand competition will shrink back into sectarianism and racial collectivism by the creation of race-specific awards and institutions.

If that;s what you believe then you need to open your eyes and ears a bit wider. Racism is a double sided coin, for every racist White person there are 10 racist non White people .... the racism found in Asian and Latin American societies makes the KKK look like kindergarten class.

My mum got sent this exact email ages ago. I'm surprised it's still doing the rounds. Never bothered to see if there was any truth in it though. I just gathered it was all made up.

I think E-Mails like that are used to ilicit emotions from disenfranchised folks that seek to blame others for their problems and make them feel powerless... or (Angry White Man Syndrome)i.e. "Illegal Immigrants are taking all the jobs!!!" (that you wouldn't do anyway) "Damn Affirmative Action!!!" , I believe the reason for BET or Black Entertainment Television and Telemundo and the like is this... For years and years ALL television was WET or White Entertainment Television... same with radio and advertisements (except for Aunt Jemima , Rastus "The Black Cream of wheat Guy" and Uncle Ben) so If you weren't white basically you didn't exist. If you were Black in the 1920's , How do you tell your kid "Son , you can grow up to be ANYTHING you want if you work hard enough... even PRESIDENT" when he's never seen someone who looks like him portrayed in a positive light ANYWHERE? I think normal people understand this. It's just how things are. If you're 5'2" you can make fun of tall people all day "you tall lanky B@stard!!!" but If you're 6'3" and making fun of midgets it's just not cool. If you look like Rosie O'Donnell you can make fun of people that look like Jessica Biel but not vice versa. Why is that?... I'm not entirely sure. I guess society allows people to vent on others that can take it. Either way , in THIS day and age... only YOU are accountable for your problems. If you can't succeed NOW it's because you're LAZY! The email was written either by someone who is racist, OR by someone who was never a member of a group that was oppressed. They don't understand the mindset of being oppressed for years and finally breaking free of that oppression. Whether a person is black, Hispanic, gay, disabled or a woman, they most likely have the mindset of ...

I am as good as you, regardless of my condition. I will claim my space and no longer allow you to dictate my position to me. I am ______ (gay - for example) and since you won't allow me to be myself in your parade, I will form my own. Or I am black and since you won't hire me to be on your television station, I will make my own. Or I am Hispanic and proud. Since your Chamber of Commerce won't address the needs of my community, we will form our own. Or, I am a woman. And since you won't admit me into your college, we will form our own."

You see, the minorities didn't start this separation attitude. They were excluded by white people. So they started their own. And then the white people call them racist for being "separatist"... It would have been so much better if they had just stayed in their place, huh? And not come out claiming this and that for themselves...

That's my take on the email.

It looks like a hate monger Generic E-mail, as we know the nations has his first African American president and is not doubt that is many very unhappy citizens about that fact.

This can and as usual instigate the feelings of many and can actually make some get into a hate frenzy.

We all know that the nation is no doing good, people are stressed, upset and angry.

So a littler fire on the wood will made many react in the desirable way that the hate groups want.

Very interesting way to instigate hatemongering.

Yes I think this guy is full of bull. His trying to justify being racist and I dont think his "experiences" with blacks are true, just made up to further his personal racist agenda.

True, there are prejudice blacks and there is no justification for the way they act, but you can blame in part that after years of segregation (social wise as well as political) which has caused them to be defensive. However a racist is a racist, and I will call them out for what they are, black white latino or otherwise.

This guy sounds alot like few of the member son this forum with their excuses over their own personal prejudices.

Theres no excuse for racism of any kind, there may be some reason, but no excuse.
