There's probably been thirty threads about this in the past two years.

Some satellites are geo-synchronous (appear to stay stationary above the Earth) .... some are not. It depends on the orbit the satellite is put into. Some do indeed move quite quickly across the sky.

When you see an article like this directly under your strange creature, one has to be very skeptical about the source'

Definetly a snow crab-ish creature. And that would be the ISS you're seeing in the sky every night.

okay bear with me here

a lot of years ago I bought a fossil fern impression at a rock shop
when I got it home I looked at the other side and there it was a tiny little mold of a creature only about an inch and a half long

guess what it looked like? just like this ! exact match!

looked through the fossil indexes 'til I was blue in the face ,never could find it described or classified in any of them ,but my fern was 350 million years old

I know that doesn't help,I would post a pic of the little fossil but alas due to it's fragility and a drunk husband it no longer exists

we're divorced

That would be Venus. It has been increasingly bright the last few weeks building to maximum magnitude on February 19th.
