Why can't alien abductees call a doctor?

www.examiner.com

I thought I would see what would happen if I called up five different doctor offices in the Denver area and asked them what they do for alien abductees. I received laughs, bewilderment, anger and dial tones. Only one office would talk to me and they offered to refer me to a psychiatrist. I found it interesting that there was officially nowhere for alien abductees to go. A person who believes they are a victim of an alien abduction can contact a hypnotherapist, MUFON or UFORC.com but calling their local doctor’s office is not a likely option. I found it surprising there wasn’t an office that abductees could contact regarding counseling and medical treatment.

Another interesting article by this kid. It has a valid point, there is no where for abductees to go. It should be an outrage that people are being lied to about the existence of ET's. People are being traumatized by abductions and no one in the healthcare or government seems to care. The reason people should be upset is because we are being lied to, plain and simple. Roswell happened then it came out in movies and aliens became a big joke to everyone.

1) calling them is stupid. IF something really happened, I would make a fake appointment just to get it, then when he shut the door, tell him.

2) the people that were called figured it was a prank or a radio station.

3) Really, what could a doctor do anyways? I doubt my local doc has a geiger counter in his office.

4) Why would you need a doctor anyways? You were just checked out by a race obviously far superior to any stuff we have down here.

5) You'll never need to call as there are no little greys or greens, its all military classified crap and no one is getting abducted. Those who say they are, are in it for the money or are actually crazy.

Yeah, well, not only can they not call a doctor, but they also can't call the cops, or the FBI, or their family, or anyone.

The cops have their routine memorized. You call the cops, they say they searched around the house outside and didn't see anything. Then they turn to your family and say "yeah, get this guy some help, and find out what it really is".

But then again, that's the whole point of having superior technology. Them aliens can just do what they want up there, but then when we're "over here" they also control the doctors, the police, the government, everything.

This place is just an alien playground to pick folks up, do what they want with them, and then possibly put them back (yeah, that's right, because if they don't put them back they can cover that up, too). I'd imagine that they've done this to a large number of people.

I mean, really. With technology like that, what's there to stop them??

I think there may be a certain protocol with anything that's related to this. Many doctors may be afraid of losing their license.

I'm curious how many books and alleged fictional stories have made various doctors rich by changing names etc. I find it suspicious that some writers have been abducted, but if the aliens or whomever want it told right or a certain way, why not? Cut out the greedy middle men.

I think there are a few sites for abductee group therapy. One I think is in Ohio. Others may on Yahoo groups and AOL. It would be nice if ATS did this here more openly.

Abductees can have false memories implanted and have likely been traumatized to the point of needing medications and psychotherapy. Once stabilized, someplace such as this site is as good as any for some help and tips.

But T&C should be stronger with the really lame probe jokes. That defeats the purpose of this site and potentially loses a valuable member who may have something more to contribute than jokes and skepticism.
