Chat down?

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, I cannot seem to get onto the chat and I am wondering why. Can anyone else get on the chat?

have you tried closing all your tabs down, logging out and in again?


Edit to add... just tried and it said "group name error..connection failed"

no idea at all??

I have rebooted the chat server and I was just able to get in.

Those having difficulty please try again.

I've not been able to get into chat for weeks now. I just get a blank space where all the rooms and the login should be. I do get the text at the bottom though. Just tried again and it's the same. This is the same on all 3 of the computers I have access to (running Vista, XP and Mandriva) I have a selection of browsers and it's all the same.

Dunno if it's important but I'm in the UK and I have only tried through the one wireless net connection. I've updated flash (although I was already on the latest ver.) Thought it was just me!

Have you asked if you're banned from chat?
Or spoken to staff in general?

I feel bad man... i can get in and don't even WANT to....you can't and really do want to.

That is a point... Maybe Djarums will see this and clear that up, I may u2u later, would of thought I'd get a u2u about something like that, I know sometimes I can get a bit carried away... Maybe they should block me only after I come back from the pub!

Gotta chime in here-

I came to ATS to chat, because I never chatted before. Was denied, didn't have the required 200 posts. (Dec. of 07).

So I dug in, and posted away, adhering to T & C's, determined to qualify.
Watching my count rise... and when I reached 200, tried immediately.

No luck. Didn't have this or that. Same thing every time since.

Haven't tried in a while. Any tips from chatters before I try again?

Maybe the chat database was not updated with your name. Try contacting the admin, they might help you.

And it is not good entering now. All members are idling. It is idle galore there. Come before the americans go to bed or just after they wake up!

I just got in there for my first time ever, tonight!
Really cool! Either my brain or my computer is slow; I found it hard to keep pace with the conversation(s) going on!

Thought I got in there once, a while back, but nothing happened, so I thought I messed up... maybe there was no-one in there!

Tonight's got a lot going!

I can see how I would benefit from having my system set-up with a microphone for voice-to-print posting!
