Great Choice! ive been a big fan of Michael Steele ever since i first heard about him a little over a year ago. He even has his own website on how to fix the republican party, and how they have to look at the future and stop looking at the past. this guy is huge and is going to only get bigger when more people discover his ideas that can fix the republicans, i would not doubt that he will confidentally be the next republican running for president

I'm surprised people of the left persuasion aren't reenacting their Oreo incident of 2002.

At the candidates' only televised debate in late September, there were reports that Townsend supporters passed out Oreo cookies to represent Steele, joking he was black on the outside but white in the middle.

Paulson denied the incident happened and said the only documented accusation came from Ehrlich spokesman Paul Schurick.

Steele, however, said an Oreo cookie rolled to his feet during the debate.

My favorite quote from this article is:

"What we have now is a situation where people don't know history," Rev. John Heath said. "It was the Democrats who kept Jim Crow laws. Every advancement African- Americans have made, a Republican had to be there to help."
