Right after Getting the Aug.6 Memo, Bush Drove off to Play Rancher
On August 6, 2001, reports AP, "It was a classic dog day of summer in Crawford, Texas. Despite the 100-degree temperature on Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. Bush laced up his running shoes to go for a four-mile jog, roamed his sprawling ranch and fished a pond for bass.Bush was on a working vacation, about as close to a real vacation as presidents get. On that day, after a dusty morning run, the president put on faded jeans with a big belt buckle, a short-sleeved, button-down shirt, cowboy boots to get down to work. He met with aides for 45 minutes. He took the call from Rice." Did he then call the FBI, CIA, or organize a conference call to advisors? Nope. "Bush put on a white cowboy hat and drove his pickup to the canyons. He was building a nature walk."

Generally, he was just being lazy as repugnants tend to be.

Hey Clintonista,
Here is what your favorite idol and former president did when he recieved a 1999 report, which is probably the same one HE passed off to Bush and is now labeled the 2001 PDB:

WASHINGTON -- Two years before the Sept. 11 attacks, an analysis prepared for U.S. intelligence warned that Osama bin Laden's terrorists could hijack an airliner and fly it into government buildings like the Pentagon......
Former President Clinton, golfing in Hawaii, played down the intelligence value of the 1999 report.

Scroll down to the article entitled "1999 Study: Hijack - Suicides Possible":
1999 Study: Hijack - Suicides Possible

Despite all that "historic data + current threat = actionable intelligence", your favorite McClinton did WHAT, Colonel?
Warnings signs all over the place, intelligence reports all over the place and they did WHAT?
U.S. warned in 1995 of plot to hijack planes, attack buildings

PATHETIC excuse of a man and a president, amazing he served 8 freakin' years and now wants to pin the whole terrorism issue on a president that served less than 9 months when the blunders of the previous administration came to fruitition in 2001.

Archive for news articles.....does it matter Colonel? DId you find the article? Who released it?
The article in question can be found elsewhere.
You see, an ARCHIVE source may be of concern to you, but not necessarily to me....the information given is of value and scrutiny....and in this case....your idol loved to GOLF, besides a few other recreational activities not so public, even when given intelligence information relating to:
"historic data + current threat = actionable intelligence".........

9-11 didn't happen on his watch---even if he did like to golf. Furhtermore, even tho he Loved to golf, he foiled the Millenium plot. What did Bush do...NOTHING.

In may paper w while back they had an article about al-Qaida and from the info exttracted from that really ugly Muslim we caught while back, that the planning happend shorlty after the Cole bombing and while OBL was being offerd several times to Clinton.

And that the one Dem overviewing the 9/11 Council says Bill could have done more.

You really think Kerry can defeat Osama and the forces of arab terror?
