Well i was just watching UFO files on the history channel the other day and it was documenting president involvement in UFO disclosure. It was pretty interesting actually with how many president actually wanted some kind of disclosure at least to themselves... Clinton had interest in it... JImmy Carter was very interested and personally called at the time CIA director George H.W. Bush to inquire about the situation and supposively his answer was that its on a "need to know basis"... so yeah i wouldnt hope for anything

Donno.. I think when the chips are down the renegade countries will show a few fuzzy photos and some obfuscating accounts, millions will be spent on TV coverage and newsprint and the public will go back to socker games and monday night football.

And besides, sleeper said all the countries are essentially on the same page and he was always right!?

given the fuss over 'minor' issues like abortion, and sexuality - I doubt the American people (or humankind in general) is ready to discover that:
- most of the world's religions come from UFO interaction, and the ideas of a God and Jesus/Mohamed/Krishna etc are all based on falsehoods,
- or that previous instances of human civilization built to the point of reaching the Moon and Mars, before being destroyed,
- or even that there has been a 'black' covert parallel space program running side by side with the combustion engine-based NASA deliberate 'theatre of pretend-discovery' - with no aliens responsible, merely hi-tech equipment used by a power elite.

Given the fuss over minor issues of skin pigment, sexuality, and fetuses - Government would never allow the above three items to surface.

Crakeur is right. What you might end up with is a ton of papers blacked out, worthless.

I agree, RFBurns. I'm so burned out with all those useless papers. The Sharpie company... or whoever makes those felt pens must have one 'el of a lucrative deal with the DoD. Black markers probably arrive by the pallet load to the Pentagon and Fort Mead.

I remember one packed MUFON meeting were the noted speaker had us all on edge about the Big Disclosure happening in two years from that date.

The meeting was held in 1993. I've been holding my breath for 14 bloody years. Can I just breath easy now and tell everybody that the Big Disclosure will not happen on our government's schedual? It will happen on the visitor's watch, not ours. They are smart enough to know that if we are given a date, time or place, we will twirl our wigs and get religious about it, to say the least. Our race would focus so intensely on it - either in fear, joy or conspiracy theory over-drive that we'd loose the 360 degree awareness that's needed to see the million ton asteroid (social/eco/econo or cosmic) that's flying through our back door.

When I hear that the Big Secret will spill out from a White House press conference - And I hear it directly from a gray or tall - THEN I'll sit up and take notes.

You know friends, for all the reasons discussed in this thread and many others, you can expect NOT to hear anything out of Obama's administration regarding disclosure. They have far too many other things to worry themselves with right now. I think Obama already stated this himself, too, during the democratic debates. I'm sure I remember someone asking him a question on UFOs during one debate, and his answer was something like, "we have things to take care of at home." (I'd be willing to bet that was discussed on this forum somewhere.)

There's plenty of "evidence" out there already to support the existence of alien vehicles and human made "ARV's". If you're willing to accept testimony as evidence (like we do in court), then you can point to THOUSANDS of pieces of evidence. And as we all know, you don't have to rely on testimony.

I think one of my favorite UFO vids is one that came out of Russia years back. Do a youtube search on "Russian UFO" and look for a video that's 1:29 minutes long. Check that out. I've never seen such clear footage of a cigar shaped UFO anywhere else.

I'd be willing to bet that most of the folks on this forum would agree that the reason we haven't had disclosure yet is because of the people who are keeping the secret. Is it really that simple? Of course it is!

Imagine yourself preparing a press release where you had to explain to the American public (and by proxy, the world at large) that you've kept a secret for 60+ years that MIGHT have helped slow down global warming. How would you do that without being hung? You couldn't, and therefore, you won't. They are going to protect their secret to save their own butts, and it really is that simple.

And these guys have been brilliant at keeping this secret. You can see clear evidence of their campaign if you look close enough (and you don't have to label yourself a "conspiracy theorist" either). Herein lies their secret: you have to do a lot of research and wade through a lot of craziness to see what's really going on, and most folks won't spend more than 5 minutes doing this. Why should they, when the topic has already been so negatively stigmatized?

The "myth" is stigmatized (in large part) by news anchors all over the country. I was listening to CNN a couple of weeks back and one of the anchors (I think it was Suzanne) was interviewing a guy on the Hubble telescope. This gentleman mentioned something about the size of the universe, the number of galaxies we can see, and (in general) the likelihood that there's life out there. Suzanne's reaction was one of TOTAL disbelief. She just didn't get the idea that the size of the universe clearly shows us that life is out there ... EVERYWHERE.

And that is, IMHO, the real problem. Most folks really don't understand just how large the universe is and what that really means. I've spoken with many friends and relatives throughout the years on this topic, and the overwhelming majority of them have never stopped to think about it. Even with our limited vision from Hubble, we can see hundreds of billions of GALAXIES out there, each containing hundreds of billions of solar systems. Even if earth was a fluke, the likelihood of that fluke happening elsewhere is as likely as the sun rising tomorrow.

The question, then, becomes whether or not life in another solar system in our own galaxy, or even life in another galaxy, would have the capability of detecting us and/or taking a joy ride to planet earth. Who knows. But look what we've done in 7,000 years on planet earth. What could we accomplish after 7 billion years of existence?

even tho i sincerley hope the truth comes out during obamas presidency i feel that the force in our gov that know the truth dont have to tell him anything if they dont want to and most likely they wont. which makes u wonder if the president doesnt have access who does. i would support the efforts of any hacker who could inflitrate top secret military computer infastructure to realese as much info as possible even if ment imprisonment the truth is worth it and as people of earth not just of one country we all deserver the truth

again, he can ask all he wants. his clearance won't be high enough and I doubt there's anything he can do to change that. I wouldn't be surprised if there were protocols in place to protect certain secrets in the event a president decided to give himself the clearance.

Yup!, KABLAMO! whitehouse dissapears and is replaced by a hologram.

Im kidding, maybe they have there grip on the world tight enough to not fear releasing these things. i mean this one world goverment seems to becomeing a reality, and maybe there wont be any national security anymore?

Or Obama has read the secret notes and noted that due to not enough people knowing certain things, entire countries have almost dissapeared...

yeah...but how easy is it to destroy files? or keep them hidden? it's not like those gov't people would ever be punished if they DID shred or hide files. it would just be forgotten.

i don't buy into this at all. we're not going to find anything out. this is just obama gettin' in good with the people.

when all the christians disappear in the rapture , the bildergerger / nwo secret government will unveil the ufo's they have been making for years in secret in a 9/11 style staged invasion , which with the help of the antichrist will unite the world to believe they are fighting one common enemy . The world will then be galvanised to fight against Jesus Christ and His legions of angels when He returns properly.

This is one possible scenario and is a personal opinion.
If the bildergergers / illuminati are planning to turn jupiter into a second sun , then this theory is not beyond the realms of possibility.
When the rapyure happens , there will be global mass panic as planes crash , trains crash , motorway pileups etc.....and there will be a demand for an explanation.

Does anyone know if all of our votes on the governments website for what we wanted Obama to focus on was even regarded?

On the other hand, if as I expect it's all 'ATS Black Project aircraft' and not ET no one will believe it anyway.

It's a forgone conclusion, that somewhere, in the vast universe there's other intelligent, technological, life. But the problems with interstellar travel being what they are makes ET visiting us very unlikely. To say nothing of the fact that none of the supposed sightings 'evidence' suggests aliens. Black triangles are likely some kind of secret blimp, lights in the night sky are just lights in the nightsky, and actual alien encounter or abduction reports are no more significant than elves, fairies, and similar folktales we've had for millenia.

If aliens were visiting us everyone would know it. That there's even the question of either/or says they're not. If alien life were visiting us we'd be dead, enslaved, or otherwise very sure about it. Human beings, when they can get away with it, are quite a-moral. If aliens can get here, they're so far beyond us tech-wise they'd have no qualms about squishing us. That they haven't says either a)they're nice, which isn't likely, b)they're not here.

It's a great notion and fantasy to be sure, but ultimately very unlikely. We just like to blame ET for doing things our 'good' government would never do, like test aircraft on unsuspecting civilian populations. But as American government history shows, we have and do do things that when made public piss people off. From injecting blacks with syphalis, to testing '___' on brothel patrons to who knows what else. Just because the average eyewitness to bleeding edge aircraft know nothing about what's possible doesn't mean it's an alien scout wessle (Chekov accent.)
I don't get why people would even want UFOs to be actual alien craft because that wouldn't bode well for us if they're sneaking around.

With a nation on the brink of bankruptcy, this president may be able to
open a few doors on a justified need to know.

Our economic security is a matter of national security and somebody needs to tell him
where all the money has gone.

I believe this new young president wants to tell us many many things and that his two
little girls will inspire him to work for the greater good of all.

Unfortunately, disclosure means opening a very tightly sealed can of worms.

The hawks and military industrialists are far more concerned with "job security"
and "financial security" than they are with "national security".

They are protecting the street value of intellectual property and advanced technology,
while also protecting the interests of cheap and dirty technology.

What happens if suddenly the value of gas, oil, coal and nuclear are rendered nearly worthless?
How far would those industries and the industry tycoons go to protect their gravy train?

Organized religion cares not about our faith in God.
They are much more concerned with faith in the organization.
Disclosure undermines their piece of the collection plate and their power.

Disclosure means a shift in the current global power structures.

Energy technology and clean water will become the most critical and valuable resources.

The term "as a matter of national security" has been abused to cover up embezzlement, waste
fraud, abuse, murder, money laundering, the sources of campaign contributions, bribes,
and inter-relationships between certain important people and power.

If this president accomplishes anything during his tenure, I hope it's to
restore the role of a public servant and accountability to those they claim to serve.

If the president doesn't have the security clearance to view the really sensitive materials - who does? More importantly who are they accountable to? Isn't that scarier than an alien invasion? What else are these people up to?

While disclosure might occur, I doubt that any classified material would be released. The UK disclosure, while interesting was simply an admin exercise - to save the MOD from having to handle all the freedom information requests.

Don't hold your breath!

This would only happen now because they are ready to use it against you in a false flag operation.

They've had decades to plan it but maybe weren't ready in any previous administration.

With all the believers being "created" it will be yet another use of fear against the gullible.

There is one big problem:
The Organizations, Departments and People that hold the keys to these secrets, do not feel they are answerable to the President, or anybody else.
And in many cases, such an impregnable cocoon of specialized security, red tape and "official non-existence" covers them, that it has been made, intentionally, almost impossible for anybody outside of their own influence to force any kind of disclosure or revelation.
Much of this has specifically been done to insulate from a U.S. President intervening. From what I understand, the big concern is that a President, who will only be president for 4 to 8 years, would then walk out of office as a civilian, with world-shaking secrets in his possession.

No, I don't think a simple demand/request/inquiry is going to do anything.
The only way a U.S. President will be able to crack this, would be in an alternative use of his power. He will probably have to appoint some kind of counter-Black-Ops task force to go after the "Secret-Guardians", whomever they may be.
For all we know, something like this may already be going on.

You are right on.

Barack has little experience, little knowledge and less inspiration, no matter how much he wishes he has. He will go nowhere because THEY wont let him for obvious reasons. BO isn't trustworthy.

But the overall reason for non disclosure is the basic human condition. We are here to learn. Learn again and continue learning, IMHO. Disclosure interferes with the learning process.

What are we to learn that is so important? Good question but it is not how to live on another persons dime and that is the reason BO can't help us out as he is for redistribution of other people's dollars.

All that's left is integrity and self reliance. You won't be hearing that from BO! No indication that he believes in it.

Some presidents DID like Kennedy and Reagan.

The government within the government wont allow the 'good stuff' to be revieled. I have my doubts although I hope they do. I just wont get excited because it will soon be followed by dissapointment like everything promised to us by the government.

Never happen.

1. The President's security clearance is too low.

2. The people in charge of EBE stuff are not answerable to him or anybody else would would even know the existence of..

3. The only way the President could even have anything to do with disclosure, is if he creates his own investigatory task force against his own government, and ends up digging something up by force.
