What do you want to do before you die?

For some reason lately i have had such an urge to make list of things to do before i die im not sure whether i have this urge because im going to die soon or something like that but im making it anyway all i have so far is:

1)Go Skydiving
2)Become a fire fighter
3)Go bungee jumping
4)Visit America e.g. New York
5)Visit Canada
6)Visit Egyptian pyramids
7)Visit Mayan Pyramids
8)See a real American Football Match live !!
9)Go to Wembley
10)Learn a language

and now i am kinda stuck because i cant really think of anyting else although ther is bound to be loads more but just cant think of them right now

anyway would be great to hear other people's lists

wow, I feel pretty good about myself, I've already covered....

3, 5, 8, and 10. Also being from the USA I can't really count 4(although I'd like to see NY someday too), but I have been to london which is probably the equivalent of a Brit wanting to see NY.

Also, I'll have number 7 taken care of in a matter of weeks.

As for my own list, well I've thought of making one before, but who cares....
I just keep doing stuff when the opportunity arises. being organized, making lists, plans, or goals has never suited me. I prefer to fly by the seat of my pants as much as I can.

I want to travel the world in the next 5 years. I just need to formulate a plan, and save up enough to get started and il work my way around the world. Want to really back pack around, so one week i could be in Africa, and then i could think ' i fancy Italy' etc and just get the next plane there. Need to think of an automated money stream to fund it, anyone have any ideas?

I try and live in the moment as much as possible but i suppose if i had to make a quick list it would look something like this -

Top 5 for the moment will be -

1. Travel round world
2. Create a reliable money stream, to finance trip and enable me to focus on other things in life besides work
3. Further my spiritual developement, which will always be an on going process, but il wack it in this list anyway.
4. Learn a language
5. Focus on my goals, dreams and desires and reach my potential
In no order.

I know two arnt exactly goals which i could do in the next week, more of an never ending process but, it is all for good fun.

Your list sounds good, ive been a bit broad about mine, i.e seeing certain locations has just gone under 'travel world' lol, but i plan to travel the globe aswell so it kind of fits really. It has reminded me about my mission to skydive aswell and would love to see England play at wembley. This will have to get added on after ive done part of my 5 though lol.

well the 5th,

I've never been able to create a steady stream of cash that just keeps coming in regardless of where I go, but I do have a fun job that makes plenty of cash most of the time, and allows me to take trips often.

as far as traveling around the world, well i i took four trips last year, and saw 9 countries outside the US. Here's what I've learned....

you can travel and eat for cheap if you know where to look, books like lonely planet come in very handy...

hostel world, global freeloaders, and couchsurfers.com are all websites that you can use to find cheap and free lodging, plus meet very cool people.

A lot of the germans, brits, canadians, and aussies that i meet abroad will travel for a while then settle in somewhere for a matter of months to rebuild a pile of cash to head off to the next adventure with, so don't think you have to be in a different place from week to week.

hmmmm...I dunno, there are plenty of good books written about life in other cultures as well as books about other peoples adventures of life in other cultures..

I'd say just read what ever you can on whatever you can.....
know yer geography...know where people are likely to rip you off, etc....

if you've never done much traveling I'd say the first thing to do is take 2 weeks and go somewhere....you really dont even have to leave the country, but you should def go far enough that you need to fly. get a buddy and just go do it...beware though....you'll be hooked forever....

To Find a cure for everything so people won't have to die. Especially ME!

I don't have many plans or goals in this regard...but a wish list might be...

1) Visit Syria (slew of Roman Ruins and other ancient buildings/crypts, without tourists)
2) Buy a tiny old farmhouse with acreage
3) Have another great "once in a lifetime" dog.

2) Go to America.
3) meet a few ATS members whom I won't name. (Can't be accomplished without No. 2.)
4)Skydive, although I would probably crap myself...

I really like the way this man thinks.

I've never flown in an airplane so that's one. I've never been out of the United States so that would be two. I'd like to save a life whether it be human or animal. I want to bowl a 300 game just once. To fly in a spaceship to outer space and look back and see the world like never before. And finally to smile 100,000,000 more times before it's over.

1. Make my mum's life simpler
2. Buy mum a house and a convertible (yes i am a mummy's girl)
3. Spend two years doing charity work
4. Educate / Adopt an orphan
5. Learn to roller blade
6. Learn to ride a motorbike
7. Be financially independent
8. Explore a rain forest
9. Travel to the sub-continent
10. Be fluent in sign language
11. Work up the courage to be a bone marrow doner
12. Trace down my brother's grave and give him a proper burial
13. Trace down my original maternal family
14. Work up the courage to be an organ donar
