Hello to one and all ! My name is Howard and I wish to say hello to everyone here at this extraordinary site !

I also would like to engage in discussion on the Whitechapel Murders of 1888, the Jack The Ripper Case.

I am a member of one of the world's best sites for serious Ripper discussion, the JTR Forums, which includes authors Martin Fido,Ivor Edwards,Tim Mosley,Richard Patterson and world-class researchers like David Knott,Scott Nelson,Tom Wescott, and Chris Scott. .........'Nuff said ?

I look forward to engaging in conversation with the marginally informed to the avid students of the Case.

Hoping one and all will join me ! Thanks you very much for your time ! Howard Brown www.jtrforums.com/forums

Hi Howard, I've read a few books on this subject and think I've also visited the site you mentioned. So who is your favourite candidate for The Ripper? Do you have one?

Thanks for the replies, guys ! To answer Ubermunche's question, the person I believe was Jack The Ripper was Roslyn D'onston Stephenson. One of the most disappointing areas of this case has been the lack of attention to MOTIVE. There are so many details that get gnawed on,that the fact that organs were removed usually gets overlooked and overlooked for specific reasons, sir. Its too much of a stretch for many of the Ripperologists to consider an Englishman who believed in the Occult to the extent that RDS did. I'll get back with you later,Uber ! I appreciate the response.

My man Drunk: You may find some of the findings some of us have unearthed on Roslyn Stephenson of interest. I have posted at the Jack The Ripper/Black Magic thread and as of now haven't seen any replies. If you get sober( which I need to do,as I have to work tomorrow), please check out our site. There's a whole lotta shaking going on regarding Jack The Ripper over there, unlike the nearly dead Casebook site. www.jtrforums.com/forums Thanks my friends !!!!

Dear SE7EN....The only thing Walter Sickert is guilty of is being fingered by Patricia Cornwell.....and for being a mediocre artist. Sickert is not even known to have been in London on some of the kill-dates. You aren't supposed to think about that. Cornwell didn't even care to make sure he was known to have been there.

Sickert was a proto-Ripperologist,at most. His interest in the case, superceded most people's interest in the case, for the reasons interest in the case ( mine, that is) supercedes most people now. Cornwell will be a memory 5 years from now.

I have a great friend in Manchester,by the way. He is a Ripperhead and a Maybrick-devotee. Thank you for your reply,SE7EN !

Howard I think I've heard of Rosyln Stephenson, is this the one where the killings all mapped out in the form of a pentagram? Also anyone who can't stretch there imagination to believe an Englishman can't have occult interests....well they have no imagination!!!
I will definately check out this site.

Thanks for that welcome,FunLovin' !!

For all you folks, I recommend reading Jack The Ripper. Black Magic Rituals, by Ivor Edwards. Ivor made an important find this year. He located the grave ( Islington Cemetery in London on Jan. 30th-31st,2004 ), of Roslyn Stephenson.

While mitochondrial DNA forensics cannot help determine anything as far as the remains of Stephenson go, it does open up the possibility that a will exists. Furthermore, people at our site have located where he was in his final days ( a workhouse,St.Marlyebone, also in London ). This may not sound earth shattering to people on paper. However, one area we are working on is to determine whether RDS wrote the Lusk letter ( the one with the piece of kidney in it ).......Many people believe that this may be the only real letter Jack The Ripper sent.

Hey ! Enough of my rambling on...what are your opinions ? Thanks again for your posts, people !!!
