Dear Baltimore Ravens Fans,
We are so sorry that your beloved Baltimore Ravens lost the AFC Title Game to our Pittsburgh Steelers. It did seem that your offensive minds did try
to figure out our very vaunted defenseive side of the football. However, those pesky Steelers kept making plays when they needed to and that is what
lead to your team's downfall. Granted, your rookie quarterback along with that stellar offense just couldn't keep up with our stellar defense. On a
side note, we are terribly sorry that McGahee had to be carted off the field after that helmet to helmet hit by one Ryan Clark. We do wish Willis
McGahee the best while recovering.
As for how the game went, this game will go down in Steeler lore as being one of the greatest games in the playoff history of the famed Pittsburgh
Steelers franchise. Our offense brought there A Game today along with the Ravens. Even though your team fought hard, our beloved Steelers still came
out victorious. When it came to the defense however, the new and vastly improved Steel Curtain could not be penetrated. Each and every time that your
Ravens thought that they had a door open. Our defense slammed the door shut in their faces each and everytime. That is what happens when you run into
a Dick LaBeau defense. We don't have the Number One Ranked Defense in the National Football League for nothing.
When it came down to it, our Steelers were just clicking on all cylinders. Big Ben being the usual gun slinger that he is while making what seem to be
impossible completions to our very talented wideouts. That miraculous catch that Nate Washington made in the second quarter was amazing. Even though
your head coach challenged the catch and lost, you have to give it to Nate Washington for making a speectacular catch.
We do wish you Baltimore Ravens fans a great offseason and we hope to see your Pro Bowl Selections in Hawaii in a couple weeks. After that, we shall
see your Baltimore Ravens for another fight for the AFC North Division one more time this year.
See you in 2009.
Sincerely,
G.F.400 c/o Steeler Nation.
