I originally posted this as a reply to another post concerning Oklahoma, but decided this deserved its own thread.

Here in Broken Arrow, a suburb of Tulsa we were recently struck for two days with roadblocks orchestrated by some group with many SUVs and OSF ( Oklahoma Security Force ) written on the side in yellow letters. They stopped everyone and checked our identification, going as far as shining a uv light on the holograph and scanning the barcode. I dont know anyone caught without identification, but I wouldnt want to be the one to find out what was done to those without. Quite a scary scenario when a group I have never heard of quietly took over this city for two days and no one dared voice dissent.

Isn't Oklahoma one of the states that have been considered as "Anti-illegal"? Or.... Illegal alien unfriendly?

Just wondering, really... That sounds scary, and I haven't seen anything on ATS about it. But wouldn't it be awesome if the US actually enforced immigration laws?

Hopefully someone else has more to add.

I think we have bigger problems to worry about right now then immigration laws. Even with soaring unemployment most Americans wont do the work that immigration people do for the rate they get. I for one really wouldn't like to pay even more for goods in this economy.

Yes Oklahoma is very strict on illegal immigration. You ought to see the hoops you have to go through just to renew your drivers license if you let it expire past a month. When applying for welfare they are extremely carefull so as to weed out nonresidents and illegal immigrants.

Hmm, there's no mention of "Oklahoma Security Force" on google. OSF appears to be the Oklahoma Office of State Finance.

Are you sure that's what you saw? Were they working with local police? Why not just drop you friendly local police station a line and ask them?

Anyone get a photo of these Oklahoma Security Force SUVs.
or have a Internet link to who they are.
i find nothing with a Internet search for "Oklahoma Security Force"

I find no agency with anything like this on the Internet.

Is this some state agency or what.

last year we had a small group in Calif that were driving black vans and SUVs with ICE on the sides and terrorizing job sites with illegals working at them.

The cops finely told them to stop.

I haven't heard of this happening either but I live about 1&1/2 hours away. Still, I can't imagine what the Oklahoma Office of State Finance would be doing stopping people on the street and asking for their ID.

Test run? See how the gun-totin', bible-thumpers handle it before imposing it on the rest of the country?

What about all the talk about the government bringing home troops to run simulations on our own soil for "training purposes".

I found this story on the 10th page, 2nd link from bottom searching for Oklahoma security force through google. I can't get the actual search link to post correctly on this post, so I'll just link the link it leads to.

By the sounds of it, they might be training up another security force down there in Oklahoma for either home deployment or more overseas action. On the page below, very bottom they talking about their early 2008 deployment team. Maybe there's a 2009 team gearing up.

But here's the link: Oklahoma Security Force
