Well darn, you figured out that we were all trying to hex you.

Actually, I was trying to give you the plague with my avatar, but I haven't found a way to get the germs to go through wireless internet.

Seriously though, it's tasteless to attack someone's choice of avatar publically. At least U2U them, or ignore them if you dislike it that much.

Better yet, recognize that it's the person's right to put up what they choose.

It is a midieval plague doctor. They were usually trained only in the rudiments of medicine and were hired by plague victim's families to diagnose and treat as best they could the plague sufferers, as the real doctors usually fled.

The outfit served as a crude biohazard suit. The coat was waxed, and the bird mask had aromatic and mildly antibiotic herbs stored in the nose. This covered the mouth, nose, and eyes, helping to prevent infection. It was bird-shaped becaue of a variety of religious and superstitious beleifs of the time.

I dont see your problem or any problem with any avitar out here on ATS.

They all seem to fall in the T&C requirements.

If I am not mistaken, you can customize your ATS viewing pleasure to exclude the avitars. If not, well just dont look at them.

yah allot of peoples avatars are depressing
i hate the ones with movement there distracting
im also not to fond of the bottom little catch phrases end up reading then 100s of times over

I like to use Illuminati and New World Order Avatars and Signatures on other forums. It is to Inform the public of there existence, hopefully they will google a quote or a picture name. and then do some research of there own.

However the Straight up Demon looking etc avatars is just Teenage angst i think. They want a menacing Avatar to represent how "cool" they are? (lol) and how you should think twice before "*******" with them (posting responses to them haha).

i would assume... i have no idea....

This reminds me of the ATS member who wanted to ban the bikini ad
on the site. Perhaps you should take this up with management. Maybe
suggest a way to disable seeing avitars when logged in. Otherwise
expect to see more of people expressing themselves. Get over it.

Listen, this has been complained about before (recently), and it is a morose complaint. It is art. This is not a bible thumping website, it is a conspiracy site. There are rules that are enforced regarding avatars, and the two you complained about are well within the limits of said rules.

if you don't like it, move along. Find a site that will cater to your hypersensitivity. Most of our members are anonymous, so "portraying an image" of ourselves is silly as very few of us know each other outside of this place (I am an exception, and my "real name" is easily found, as are other members of Pegasus).

Sorry i am being so short, but it seems that this same BS is brought up every couple of weeks by some newbie, and it is tiring to have to keep rehashing the exact same dialogue repeatedly. This is why ATS has a search function. Use it.

BTW, InterestedAlways is a friend of mine. Not too fond of your rude and snide comments about her avatar. If you knew the person, you would be blessed to know a wonderful person who is inquisitive, intelligent, and a valuable friend.

If you're using Linksys, try clicking the Advanced button under your Port Forwarding tab. Set TCP 88, UDP 3301, UDP 2184, and GTP (Germ Transfer Protocol) to 7782 for the Black Death. If you have a different plague in mind, you'll have to check out a FAQ for the correct port range. Be sure UP&P is enabled.

Thanks for that, I will give it a try, as classic Black Plague is good enough for me.
