Hidden and Dangerous 2 Multiplayer

I just got it and its a blast but my only problem is that the multiplayer servers seem dead except for the demo rooms which Im not allowed into, can anyone explain to me why this game seems to be dead online when the clerk at gamestop told me the multiplayer was a blast.
