I will spend some time trying to verify the claims made on the site, but it should be remembered that a number of the quotes you offered were not by people or bodies that are considered to be authoritative by the Church and are certainly not Church teachings.
Most importantly, the Popes never crowned bears. That would be highly dangerous.
I'll get back to you after I do some research.
