Err no I didn't agree. Perception is very important. That's is where your knowledge and beliefs stem from.

Also, there is no first cause. It just is.

Ergo, you don’t believe in God.

Ok, first of all I'm not 'religious'. But would you care to provide a source for the claims that religious people don't believe that 'something comes out of nothing'? That is in fact the basis of theism, or rather that God is pre-existent, and is the ‘nothing’ that everything came from.

If that was the case,wouldnt there be traces of humans 4 billion years back in time and not only some 10.000 years or 100.000 years back?

I still dont buy that monkey gives birth to humans, I will never buy that...
It still leaves the Lloyd Pye research in the wrong, and I dont think he is that far off.....

as it stands.. here are some fundermental questions to ask:

Is there a god "super being that made eeeverying" including aliens..

Did the "aliens" make us??

What is life: being alive!

Can we make life?: yes we can..

Do we understand what created "life" Nope we dont.. so its hard for us to recreate that what we dont know.. "god"..

Its all very messy on this rock we call earth.. VERY messy

Remember there are us scientists who believe science is proof of God, not proof against Him. Be careful as well claiming someone is unqualified to do their job because of their beliefs.

Don't get too excited about sensationalism in the mainstream press; that's like seeing an article last week saying "light speed is slowing down!!" Folks, we knew light speed was changing 30 yrs ago.

The concept of the building blocks of life emerging from a primordial swamp came from Stanley Miller's experiments in the 1950s, where he reproduced the assumed atmosphere of an ancient earth, and shot electric sparks through it to simulate lightning.

Truth be told, his experiment produced nothing quite like amino acids...... It did produce organic molecules, but those were formaldehyde and cyanide. In case you weren't familiar, those chemicals are deathly to all life.

Self replicating cells? Hmmm... Were I to be on the team working with this... I'd sure as hell hope I knew someone working with nano-technology... To 'hook' some of these cells up with some bio tech... A self replicating supercomputer!
