Obama to cause end of world?

Well since I have recently been enlightened as to the fact that the alignment with the galactic center of the universe (that occurs ever 26,000 years and was purported to be the reason 2012 was significant to the Mayans) actually occurred on May 7, 1998, the fact that his term ends near Dec 23/21 (whichever) 2012 means absolutely nothing to me.

And no, I think there is absolutely no possibility that Obama will be the cause, (or even a significant factor in) the end of the world.

And, I hold to that opinion even if you dont actually mean the end of the "world" as in planet, but merely the end of the human species.

He may end up being a pawn in some political maneuver much like ole George W was, but he will most certainly not be the mastermind behind it. Not because he isnt bright enough, but I believe he genuinely wants to do good things for America. I think this naivete will be exploited by the less altruistic power brokers, but I believe he genuinely wants to do good for not only America, but the world.

If the human race goes extinct between now and 2013, it will the due to some "natural" event. Volcano, environmental collapse, crazy new disease, meteor, space radiation, etc. not nuclear war. Or maybe some weird supercollider event in the manmade category. I just dont think it will be war. Unless some natural event puts us all on the brink of starvation, then perhaps we may go to war to that level of destructiveness.

I don't know how many times it needs to be said but...the 1998 date is wrong, it's the product of using the gregorian calendar. Which is nowhere near accurate.
