Iran pound Kurdish rebels in Iraq

www.middle-east-online.com

QANDIL - Turkish warplanes and Iranian artillery bombarded Kurdish rebel hideouts in northern Iraq on Monday, a Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) spokesman said.

"Turkish planes and Iranian artillery bombarded Aquwan and the Iranians bombarded Maradu. The bombardment lasted for about one hour starting from 7pm (1600 GMT)," the spokesman, Ahmed Denis, said.

What a good time to "take care of business" while the world is focused on the Gaza conflict.

I knew Turkey was openly bombing the PPK, but Iran??
What does the U.S and NATO have to say about that?

I never believed in the WWIII hyped, but with the Iraq/Afghan war, Pakistan/India heated tension, Gaza conflict, Russia openly backing Iran, world banking crisis...

What is going on??

This is all prophesized in Psalms 83 and Ezekiel 2

The Kurds ought to change their names to Palestinians so they can get the same amount of sympathy the Palestinians are getting in Gaza.

I thought you had messed up on the title. I was aware of Turkey pounding on the Kurds, but Iran caught me by surprise. I am curious to see whether Iraq will have anything to say about this.

I think the concept of pre-emptive wars has started to spread. Anyone else predict when the next threat is to come from? We should take care of business.

Yeah exactly.

If you think you are IN danger, make danger.

Iran and the U.S. sharing the same airspace can lead to nothing but trouble. IMO we're itching for a fight with Iran and I agree with a previous post in that countries sparring off with eachother while the world is focused on Gaza is inevitable.

Doesn't it seem that all of these political turmoils are escalating at an exponential pace? I don't remember hearing so much hostile political news back in 06 and 07.

To me it just looks like we are committing literal suicide
