I think Hamas and Israel are acting like asses.

Pretty much sums it up all. Hamas doesn't give a da*m about their own civilians nor does the Israeli government care about Gazans.

[edit on 3-1-2009 by Mdv2]

That is completely false, and I will prove it.

If Israel cared nothing about Gaza civilians, it would use unguided bombs and such, you know, like Hamas does.
BUT.............................

That is not the case.

Precession bombs and missiles are being used to minimize the civilian injuries.

That was pretty graphic, even for my tastes.

I mean, it was so graphic that I must say that I don't question that it was an Israeli attack. All that was left to pray over were the body parts.

Scores dead, injured, blood all over the place. No wonder these people need Hamas... they're totally helpless. And the Israeli's just provoke Hamas into firing rockets, and then bomb them into oblivion.

U.S. foreign policy is pretty nasty.

Have the IDF gone in? I could cry. Them Hamas should have stopped, they mess with the Pals and Israelis. Time to say............ Stop the attacks........ On both sides and live your lives, together.............. For we are all human beings.

To the UFOs in the sky (God/Jesus/Whatever you call him) please come and land now and save us from ourselves.

The zionists actually did one better. They said that there were men from Hamas with green berets in the video, therefore, Hamas was hiding in the playground. I suppose the Israeli bombs magically followed Hamas into the playground.

I, of course, asked how the Hamas men survived unscathed and were busy disentangling the children's corpses.

So far no response.

And I told you the guy is on the ground and reporting to MSNBC. Sorry he didn't update his blog yet.
Jordan refuses to get involved, as does Egypt. Arab league has commented on it but hasn't given any orders yet.

Oh blog is it...i thought you said it was on TV earlier?

I'm still waiting for you to post the source that definatively shows that, as you so eloquetly described as:

On televison now! The Palestinians tried to slow the tanks down by grabbing their own children, shooting them in the knees, and throwing them in front of the tanks!

well?

This is terrible. I hate that it had to come to that. I don't know much else to say about the situation other than I hope this all calms down. As far as *end of the world* goes I would much rather have super volcano than WW3 :/.

On a side note, could some of you nuts and bolts take your stupid bickering to another thread? It takes forever to get to the actual links of news when there are pages of pointing fingers. Get a grip.

i must totally agree with you *salute*

whilst we have disagreed before - but this is true , stop the damn fighting.

the only ones that will die will be the civialins , whilst the fighters on both sides live to fight another day

I think her intention with that post was to illustrate that the man she saw on tv, on the front line relaying info, was more credible than a blog post. Even though stating you saw something on tv isn't necessarily credible.

Where is Iran and their super uber powerful military? Are they deserting their Hamas brethren? I mean they can supply them with money and training and weapons, but once they start getting the # kicked out of them, the Iran disappears? Wow. I bet Hamas feels a little left out in the cold right now LOL.

I've had PressTV and Aljazeera on for a week. (Sat G25@97W). It's like being there, and the live images have been just unreal. Watching people die on my big screen while I'm sipping coffee next to the fire with my dogs just drives home the sobering reality of the hate and suffering these people have to endure, regardless of which side of the fence they're on.

The struggle certainly isn't mine, and I realize this conflict has gone on for longer than I've been around, but I won't look away. It's now clear that it's gone beyond anything that someone in their right mind might view as acceptable. Humanity as a whole has my sympathy and, at the same time, lost some respect, considering the true potential of what we could be as a race.

To think that so many young men, women, and children can be so pushed around, and so horribly victimized, by the ideologies of a handful of stubborn, powerful maggots in this world truly sickens me. Just where the hell are we supposed to go from here?

This massacre was from one bomb. Today there has been over thirty sorties by multiple aircraft and counting. Gaza is extremely dense and every bomb kills. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

Iran on full alert in wake of Israeli raids Iran's Air Force is on alert after the country's president envisaged major regional developments in the wake of the Israeli raids on Gaza. The chief Iranian Air Force Commander Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi said on Wednesday that the ongoing critical situation in the Middle East has prompted the Iranian military to take necessary measures to ensure readiness in the event of the country becoming the target of an offensive.

From Iran News.....1st January

If there is a bigger picture to this situation Iran is ready for it.

That is what I was saying. The guy is on the front lines. He's busy reporting what he sees first hand. He isn't sitting in a comfy office talking on a blog.
