Question: Anyone have additional information about the 223 unidentified genes in humans

Good Evening,

I had heard through the grapevine that humans had some unidentified genes that other lifeforms on earth do not have.... I found a very old post on this from 2004 but wanted to see if any additional information is available. It appears 113 of these genes "resemble" genes found in bacteria but still if other mammals do not have this kind of fluke at all, where or how did this come to be? Any additional information, I checked google but there is so much trash it is impossible to find out anything conclusive.
