NASSAU — John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, died in the Bahamas after falling ill and hitting his head at his family's vacation home, police said Friday.

No matter what your feelings about John as an actor, or a Scientologist, this is a sad day for the family.

So I see it matters not WHEN you post. A full three hours before the "EXISTING Thread" and Mine get closed???
Oh that's just freakin brilliant.

Oh no....this is tragic, tragic, tragic.
What a beautiful name..
man, that simply is heartwrenching, the poor Travoltas.. things will never be the same for them.

I remember when losing my spouse sympathy cards from strangers only made me angry. Maybe 'we will miss you Jett' cards would be more appropriate for those thinking on these lines.

It is a horrible thing when a parent looses a child. I feel so bad for John and his wife in this dark hour. It is a terrible tragic loss.

hard for me to feel bad for him.
i guess if he would have taken the kid to a doctor instead of consulting lord xenu the kid may still be alive..

Well it seems to be back open so I'll post in here for ya. Yes it is a sad day for John and his family. I just can't see how someone can believe in something so much that they can't have an open mind to check around and get him other treatments? I have nothing against John and his Scientology beliefs but if my child was diagnosed with any type of illness or disease I'd try every option available. Especially if I could afford all other options.

I know he loved his son very much, but to put Scientology first above Jett is just ignorant to me. But whats done is done and there's no going back and I feel for John and I wish him and his family the best through this tragedy.

Yes its tragic but that's what they get for following a science fiction religion created by L. Ron Buzzard. Frickin idiots.

Scientology is stupid
