RICHMOND, Calif. - Two men and two teens have been arrested on suspicion of gang-raping a woman last month in the San Francisco Bay area while allegedly taunting her for being a lesbian, police said Thursday.
Officers arrested Humberto Hernandez Salvador at his Richmond home Wednesday night, Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan said. The 31-year-old is being held without bail on gang rape, kidnapping and carjacking charges.

The Effing a-holes should all be shot for the horrible hate crime.
Some consolation is that they are behind bars for the moment.

Why would people want to rape a woman who is clearly gay?? I just don't get it. Is it for the power or the challenge to possibly "convert" her??
this wasn't a hate crime

I really don't think you can educate the hate away. I say shoot em. Sets a good example for the rest of their kind.

Too bad she wasn't armed, four less rapists in the world is a nice start.
You can't educate these people. If you don't know that raping someone is wrong then it's too late for you, cause you can't cure stupid.

I dont want to sound racist here but, I work with quite a few Spanish, both Mexican and Puerto Rican and from the names in the article they seem to have a viceral hatred of gays both male and female. Must be the machismo! This is my opinion and mine alone from my own experience working with them for a few years. I can only speak from what I have seen and heard but it is the truth. It seems to be endemic in this segment of humanity, more so than others I run into.
Hope I didn't offend anyone!

I think that's a fair observation. I believe it has a lot to do with the deep Catholicism and traditional gender roles that are so ingrained in most hispanic cultures.

Justice is meant to be objective, and not tainted by what are clearly personal issues with you, since this is the second time you've suggested that.
