Telekinetic Board Breaking, page 1

Hello Everyone,

I came across an interesting video while surfing the web today which supposedly shows a sensai breaking four boards of wood with what looks like some kind of Chi-blast.

The subject has been named 'Sensai Mike Capaldi' at the beginning of the video yet no other information is presented.

It appears to have been filmed somewhere in America as some form of public demonstration.

Normally I would be highly sceptical of such a video which while looks fairly cool and convincing falls into a number of the usual pitfalls; single camera angle, uncontrolled environment etc etc.

However the thing that struck me was that on slowing down the video it appears that on his third attempt the third board of wood is the first to break. (Note also that in his final successful attempt there is only 4 boards as opposed to 5 in the previous two attempts) I found this unusual in a number of ways as it is not something one would expect either from an actual chi blast, nor a hoaxed video. Pushing from the top would break the top board first and pulling from the bottom would not break boards above it.

Therefore I wonder if anyone can shed any light on what appears to be a rather remarkable demonstration.
