Hello with a horrible introduction

I am starting to get the hang of the message board. It was a bit overwhelming at first as there is so much here. I began dismissing everything a while back and just not believing in anything other than what I see and experience in everyday life. However I realized that dismissing without examining evidence for myself is incredibly short sighted. I am approach things from a skeptic point of view, but I really have fallen in love with this message board. I am still finding it hard to believe in Alien though. I actually hope that after spending a lot more time here and looking at more and more evidence will change my mind. We'll see.

My name is Michael Pedersen, I blatently stole my username from a book I read a long time ago called (I think) "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep". I just thought it an interesting name you don't hear often.

I do believe in God and Jesus Christ, I had a personal religious experience a few years ago that made me believe in Him. There was no pain involved, mentally I mean. Just happened one night out of the blue. Just wanted to mention that as I mentioned above that I don't believe in anything. I guess what I mean is any conspiracy, paranormal, Aliens, Bigfoot...

Not the best introduction I guess but it's something.

Great to hear!! And its always a wise move to take a listen to something you might not fully agree with.
Lets take for example.. David Icke.
Sure at the end of his wonderful speech, he will bring up that the elites are lizardpeople, who drink the blood of mankind.. Okay.. Thats hard to belive for anyone!! Even myself! And Im out there member!! You will find I am one of the more OUT there members.

However I have learned to listen to many other things David Icke says.
It rings so true! And is so worth my time to listen to the many wonderful things he has to say.
And even David Icke says.. Take what you need and leave the rest!

If you find a person who speaks out of line a few times, dont blow them off totally. They might have 1 or 2 good things to say out of lets say 10 thigns.

ATS is a diamond mine.. And you have to go through alot of worthless rubble and stone before you come across a beautiful stone!!!

Thanks everyone! I actually joined here after downloading the first season of Monster Quest on iTunes. I like the show but they seem to tease and tease with no payoff. Still enjoyable, so I just googled...something I forget something message board and ATS popped up so I joined. I am glad so many here post youtube and pictures it's very interesting.
edit: I also bought Digging for the Truth on iTunes but I just didn't like the host at all so I had to sacrafice it when I reformatted my hard disk. Just didn't have enough room on my ipod to back it up..

If you're having trouble with all the info on here a good way to start is set up RSS feeds of the 'New', 'Hot' and 'Top' threads on your browser toolbar.

It makes navigating a lot easier and you can click on it throughout your time on the net.

WARNING: You will lose hours of your life doing this.

Good tip thanks. I never use RSS anymore since I got rid of my Windows Mobile phone but want to, this is a good place to start.

I am a newbie myself!
