Secret spacecraft: why the secrecy?

With a new moon mission just around the corner, I am wondering.
I believe we have more space capabilities than we are told but....I still can't answer why they keep it under the radar.

IF there is secret spacecraft being developed by USA or other nations like Russia or China, why bother to keep it secret?

Why go back to the moon using standard chemical rockets? The cost of using current (obsolete) technology is huge. And as we know it, money is one of the biggest obstacle in space exploration.

So why keep spending so much when you could save a lot more by using more advanced or ''alien'' technology if it exist?

Possible answers:

1-It is alien technology and the governments of the world don't want you to know.... Well yeah it could be. But they could always make us believe humans invented it.

2-Countries keep the technology for themselves to retain competitive edge against rival nations... Very possible.

I think they're trying to slow down the pace of technology in our lives for economic or societal/ power-control reasons.

Why put anti gravity technology in our hands so it'll be more likely that we escape the control of the Rulers of Earth?

Let's be real. If one had the chance to leave Earth, would they take the chance? I probably would.

They're not going to give us technology that will allow us to escape their control, so they keep us here on Earth. Only the rich and powerful get to go to space using antique, expensive modes of transportation.

The PTB may be trying to build up their 'secret military' to prepare for the day the rest of humanity goes into space, so it will be easier to control them in space. It's entirely possible that the secret space program is a way to eventually separate the rich and powerful from the Earth-based planetlocked people, ironically using our taxpaying funds to do that.

I believe there is already an second, secret military space station orbiting Earth. Gary McKinnon, the British hacker, may know details of this. Who knows the true extent of the 'Secret Space Program' .

Of course it gives countries a strategic advantage. It's the same reason why some weapon systems specs are classified or only released as approximations of actual capability. Either to make them look better than they really are in order to intimidate, or to make them look worse than they are so that they create an element of surprise.

It's pretty absurd to think that any country wouldn't have a few little white military pearls stashed away to use on a rainy day when they really needed it and could catch the enemy by surprise. The Stealth Bomber was a popular "wow" vehicle that came out and the U.S. publicly stated that it had inside it a "little black box" that absorbed radar waves, which isn't the case at all. It at most gave them a little more time to be the only ones who knew how it worked by providing a little misdirection.

It's just as a good of a reason to NOT say ANYTHING about the existence - if they are visiting - of aliens who have been relatively harmless. Anyone hearing stories or seeing UFOs think they're from outer space, while people in charge of national security have to presume that they are of an earthly origin and may be the product of a few specific developed countries, namely the United States. Of course, it was the plan itself - the crash and Roswell, the various displays of seemingly advanced technology that are denied, the propaganda, etc... that would even lead us to reason in the first place that aliens might be visiting because that's where we see all the so called "evidence."

It's psychological warfare. Some genius figured out the best mind blower the world has ever seen. The plan was to have it look as if an alien race, with technology easily assumed to be many times more advanced than anyone on earth had... crash right on.. guess who? The United States. The timing was absolutely perfect.

If wouldn't have been with the plan to "cover up" the fake situation of a few "aliens" crashing here simply because it would have had much less effect on the alien agenda. It would more more reasonable to assume that the craft was from some country on earth - so they make it look like some airman prematurely let the story loose. The myth is sealed by having the government retract it and use the silly story that a bunch of guys mistook a piece of military equipment for an alien craft!! That's the perfect way to make people raise their eyebrows, isn't it? It's the perfect way to keep the event in the public eye - the world's eye - for however long the U.S. wants it to be because it doesn't make sense... and when something doesn't make sense like that, people aren't going to write it off. What will they do? They'll talk about, investigate it, make TV shows about it, make movies about it. It's perpetual, and just as perpetual as the U.S. government saying "We don't know anything about it!"

All of these things were foreseen by the creators of this masterful plan. They knew the myth would quickly substantiate all on it's own because of the curious nature of humanity, among other things.

Even better, lets released some "hahaha" fake documents about the crash with every line blacked out! That will certainly get people talking, won't it? It will make everyone suspicious that the U.S is covering something up, when all they are really covering up is a bunch of B.S.
While we're at it, we'll create a "secret" military base and give in the name of Area 51, and guard it like it contains some of them there aliens arty-facts we dun founded! derrrr.

The masterminds have obfuscated reality and created a "matrix" over the world and the United States comes out on top in all ways, as it was planned.

One of the biggest immunities gained from this plan is that the U.S. is now capable of attacking a country and blaming it on aliens that don't even exist! It goes right along with the human tradition that spirits or the gods or demons or angels did it... only now its aliens who are doing it. What do they have in common? They all DO NOT exist!


You know where all that bail-out money is actually going? You know, the bail-out money that the banks don't care about?
