Some photos I took this morning. Gorgeous.

I looked outside and glimpsed orange clouds, so thought I'd go out and have a look. Then I felt it a good idea to take some photos while I can. These are what I took.

Note, I haven't edited these at all except for shrinking them. The variance in brightness and gamma is from the camera adjusting.

Look, you can see the rays cutting through the clouds.



It almost looks as if it were the sky of another planet. I live in Southland of the South Is, New Zealand, one of the prettiest countries in the world.

I know what you mean about things looking like another planet. I often wonder if clouds always look that cool and you just need the right angle of sunlight to show of what's there. Nice photos.

Twas indeed. Numerous other movies use the countryside here, too. 'The last Samurai' was filmed here.

Very beautiful indeed. Looking back a lot of mythical type things were filmed there. Nice area that I would like to visit some day.
