That is an excellent point. If she was Carol Jones, daughter of Joe and Mary Jones of Las Cacas, New York, and the fourth generation owner of a successful bull semen and manure business, I highly doubt she would be much of a contender.

What context were you using it in? If you were using it in proper context there is nothing wrong with it. If you were using it as a mindless way to keep the conversation going while you were thinking of something to say that actually had substance then it's probably a good thing that it came to your attention.

Maybe Caroline's favorite song is "Valley Girl" cause in addition to the 'you know' problem, she also says 'like' pretty frequently.
