I believe if Jefferson's Red Bible were translated to Arabic it would start an avalanche of new thought in Islam and the world. Particularly if the thoughts and teaching of Jefferson were added to it. Reading it would have the advantage of not causing the readers to be killed by other devout Moslems.

Interesting choice for reply “Knowledgelover74” it shows how diversified Judaism is.
I first have to wonder is the good Rabi is a relative of Eric Weiss. Secondly what comes to mind is the Israeli Declaration of Independence (May 14, 1948):

"The Land of Israel was the birthplace of the Jewish people. Here their spiritual, religious and political identity was shaped. Here they first attained to statehood, created cultural values of national and universal significance and gave to the world the eternal Book of Books.
After being forcibly exiled from their land, the people kept faith with it throughout their dispersion and never ceased to pray and hope for their return to it and for the restoration in it of their political freedom."
Many Jews feel the need to be upon this land to fulfill their faith:
…love God within all your hearts and all your souls that I will give the rains of the land in its proper time, the light rains and the heavy rains, and you will gather your grain, your wine and your oil. I will give grass in your fields for your livestock. You will have enough to eat and you will be satisfied. Guard yourselves, lest your hearts lead you astray and you will serve other gods and you will bow to them. God will then become angry with you and will withhold the rain, and the land will not produce its bounty. You will quickly be lost from upon the good land that God has granted you. You shall place these words on your hearts and on your souls. You shall tie them as a sign on your arms and they shall be head ornaments between your eyes, and you shall teach them to your children to speak about them when you dwell in your house, when you travel on the road, when you lie down and when you arise. You shall inscribe them on the doorpost of your houses and your gates. So that you and your children may live many years on the land that God has promised to your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth. (Deuteronomy 11:13-21)

“To be honest” what waits in the existing future (unless a change is made) will be a massive destruction of life in Israel and the surrounding countries. Indeed this will cause the so called Rapture or more correctly the Gathering of Souls at Megiddo. The gathered will leave this world for a “New Heaven” and then a “New World”. Those left behind will deal with a Catholic Pope that is taken over by Satan himself and a world war that will destroy most life on this planet.

Do you realize conversion to Judaism is a blessed act? In the bloodline of David, Ruth was a convert. There is only one true God but He does have a Son and that Son loves Judaism and all the mitzvahs. Messianic Judaism (devoid of “Paul”) is the only true faith all others are deception.

Albert Einstein, Fascism quotes:
He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice."

But in the longer run I will agree that it would be best if Jew and Moslem could live together under the same flag. To this point of view I would offer this:

www.newdemocracyworld.org...

Albert Einstein, on April 17, 1938, in a speech at the Commodore Hotel in New York City, said:

"I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. Apart from practical consideration, my awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain -- especially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks, against which we have already had to fight strongly, even without a Jewish state."

"This is a good example for what happens to a majority who is controlled by a minority of terrorists like HAMAS. I’m fed up of these hypocritical quotes. Anyone who has a problem with Israel targeting HAMAS please state your country and tell me what you think your government would have done if 80 rockets a day were shot at civilians."

First off, it is incorrect to use the word "Israel" with the word "defence". These words are mutially exclusive. Israel was formed in terrorism and exists today due to terrorism and alliances (bought and paid for) with our government (US). The truth is, the US is also a state-sponsor of terror.

If we were really a free people, I would be sending monthly contributions to Hamas. Unfortunately, the powers running our country will not allow Americans to act on their conscience -- against the massive tide of pro-Israel propaganda.

Bravo Pexx421 !
It fills my heart of joyce when I hear an American telling sound things which come from the heart, the gutts, the mind.
You, happily, are NOT a brainwashed citizen !

To knowledgelover74 :

"To our Jewish brethren, we beg! Do not be intimidated by ruthless Zionist bullying and violence!! — Proclaim loudly and clearly your outrage, pain and sympathy for the people of Gaza and that those who show contempt for the Torah, the teachings of our rabbis, and disregard the ethical and moral basics of our faith, have no right to speak on behalf of the Jewish People or Judaism!

We must tell the world that self rule, sovereignty and ALL the rights of the Palestinian people, must be restored throughout historic Palestine! This is a requirement of Jewish ethics and values! Jewish justice demands the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes, towns, villages and cities throughout Palestine! Tell the world, loudly and clearly, that you support Palestinian statehood over the ENTIRE Holy Land —— not despite your Jewish identity, but because of it."

My friend, if all jews were like you, I would LOVE them !

Zionism is the filth of the earth.

How boldly stated "ANONYMOUS"

Nothing keeping anyone from joining HAMAS. They are looking for mindless children they can strap bombs to. Just fly to Egypt and ask for a tunnel opening. Join the hundreds of thousands of other refugees that were sent to Gaza by Egypt. The Gaza strip has only a hand full of truly indigenous people.

Only someone that is brain dead or has never lived under extreme Muslim law (Unlike like Jordan) would want to leave the US to live under that kind of fascist control.

Please do visit some Muslim countries first. I've seen first hand the torture they use and water boarding isn't anything close. Somalia’s would love to have self government without extremist control.

I was watching a video the other day of a fifteen year old extremist used in a truck bombing in Algeria. Would that be the “freedom” you are looking for Mr. Anonymous?

Iran is already supplying HAMAS with plenty of weapons they may be needing more human shields though.

I've looked down the sight at a scumbag holding a fourteen year old girl for a shield. I don't see how anyone that would use a child for that could be any hero. What is the count now 170 schools, mostly girl schools, distroyed by those freedom loving Taliban?

HAMAS are not freedom fighters. They live on fear just like any other terrorist. I noticed they loose those headbands pretty quick when the bullets start flying (chickensh&5s) can't even stay in "uniform" much less a fight.

I'm not big on any Military but nations (like people) need elbow room and the folks around Israel need to start finding another target to practice on. Like I said before I'd like to see one flag over that region! Then punks like the HAMAS could be arrested, hung and used for an open fire.

Lebanon is a beautiful country (except when Israel blew it up). It is a democratic Christian country. The Majority is now muslim but the population also consists of a large number of Christians.

Palestine was the same. There were muslims, christians and a small number of jews. There was no conflict between them until around 1880 when the european jewish settlers began to come in.

Just wanted to point out that Palestine wasn't a muslim country. My father is Malkite Catholic Palestinian. I hate that we get forgotten. People assume it's 2 religions against eachother (islam vs judaism) it's not. Its a fight to keep their nationality, their identity and the right to exist in the country that they have lived peacefully in for many generations. There used to be Christians there, most of them became refugees in 1948 and now very few remain.
