Nothing wrong with knowing that the one is but a concept ingrained in our psyche from an organized religious upbringing.

Everybody waits for the one and then come to find there are many who claim the role. Is it coincidence? Fate? Conspiracy to create an end-time scenario?

There is no "one." If there was, I dare say he/she would be inclinced to wait life out this time around without exposing the fact that he/she is really the one. Imagine the repercussions! Even those who others have proclaimed to be the one never said they were. Nor has any of them declared they are god.

Now, think of the spirit/creator/source as being composed of everything it has imagined. Most religion teaches fundamental common sense concepts of right and wrong. The dogma of modern day religion has been written and re-written over the centuries so that now they offer only half-truth and in some instances, outright lies.

If we are each but a part of the source, doesn't it make sense that we all have a role to play in educating each other to our perception of the truth? As such, are we not all part of "the one" source?

I like discussions such as these. It gives us a chance to share our diverse opinions of the mysteries of existence.

I am? "WE ARE"!!!

They read like half-baked song lyrics that a muso-wannabe-who-doesn't-actually-play-any-music gives to a songwriter and says "I want you to turn this into a song for me, come up with a melody". So you end up doing all the leg-work and all they can come up with is a bunch of embarrassing teenage angsty drivel fresh from their diary.

So you politely come up with a nice excuse along the lines of "hey those lyrics are cool but I'm not sure I can do justice to them", or "hey, YOU do something with them", knowing full well they are too lazy to songwrite their way out of a paper bag.

I think if you want decent lyrics, don't rely on other people to provide them for you! To quote Zorg from The Fifth Element, if you want something done... DO IT YOURSELF!!!
