Found this while browsing, if its in the wrong place feel free to move it mods.

Quite an interesting video, maybe it'll help some less politically inclined folk to understand some of the problems.

Caution Explicit Language

Opinions?

It is just mind blowing how much ignorance there is here at ATS. But, I guess if it makes you feel better to believe 9-11 was an inside job, and the governments of the world are experimenting on you with chemicals sprayed from high flying jet aircraft, and secret societies are plotting to kill off 90% of the world's population, then keep right on believing that tripe.

Hey guys, this song is written by Immortal Technique, he is a prominent figure in writing songs on this subject. He has other songs like this,

The two rappers in this are very clever. Mos Def a concious lyricist, and Immortal Technique has many songs that just amaze me with the amount of truth put into them on a social and political front.

beautiful!

I'm not a fan of hip-hop but I fully respect rappers who have something meaningful to say. I've actually heard that before in a friend's car and picked up on the lyrics. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but isn't it by an artist called Immortal Technique? Cool video too.

EDIT: Question answered whilst I was writing my post.

Love this song, played it too much. Eminem's in it too at the end:

"I don't rap for dead presidents, I'd rather see the president dead, it's never been said, but I set precedents!"

Here's another, made by Enimem, before Bush' reelection, very powerfull song, but sadly without real effect.

Revolutionary Vol. 2 is his best album (IMO). Download it (legally, of course
) as soon as possible.

I didn't hear anything in the song about planes spraying and you do know Bin Laden was once funded by the CIA right? So either way towers or not we funded the terrorist we blamed for taking down the WTC; which would mean we did it because we gave some type of means to do so.

Brilliant, very, very powerful. There are 2 points on which I disagree: "the values of white America" in such a context/tone is too generalizing and yes, a bit racist, and "this ain't no alien conspiracy" I'm convinced (with my history and others' histories of unexplained experiences) is denying the huge importance and effect of the intelligently nonhuman (or otherwise of advanced, undisclosed science) presence among us.

Jeah, but I think he meant to say that you don't have to believe in aliens, to accept the fact that 911 was an inside job.

It was meant to steer the subject of 911 away from the looney fringe, I think.

Also, White America is a term to describe middleclass, suburban Americans, it may be generalizing, not exactly racist.
