Hey, I'm in that Movie. The first extra gig I got after my first audition. I played an English Gentleman walking down the street. I had lunch with Frank Miller. He was a great guy that hung out with the extras and crew; quite unlike some of the other LA types that are now using Albuquerque Studios and wonderful landscape for their movies. We call it Tamalewood.

I know where I'll be the day before Christmas. I hope my scene wasn't cut.

Here's what I did to get involved in the movie biz.
Contacted my states film commision www. and looked for auditions.
searched craigslist for anything even remotely connected to TV/film/video
gigs, creative, crew, talent etc.

Since Nov. of last year I've been in 15 films, 3 TV series/1 pilot, 2 commercials
and got certified as a TV producer thru my public access channels. A weeks worth of class and $150.

Soon I hope to get some speaking roles and join the Screen Actors Guild and make some serious money as a bit part player. I have no illusions as to becoming a star, but you never know.

Try it and good luck!!

Well movie fans....

It's Christmas and the GF and I just got home form seeing "The Spirit".
I was an extra in the movie but never saw myself. Perhaps my scene was cut or it was so short; I missed me.

I was really looking forward to the movie because of Frank Millers stuff in the past, but this was a major disappointment.
The images and graphics were the only things in this film that provided any interest at all.

The characters were goofy and uninteresting.

But if there is a good Story sometimes the movie can be saved; however this was a story that could only appeal to the simple minded or those who are really involved in the comic book genera. I really hoped that this film would have lived up to Franks past performances but, it didn't even come close.

I can't recommend this film even a little bit.

Save your money and go see "Slumdog Millionaire" now that was a kickass movie.

wow

this is a stinker, avoid avoid avoid

probably the only people who are gonna like this are people who LOVE the comic books, even then its touch and go.

The only redeeming feature was one scene where it seemed like an old chinese woman called the spirit a wanker in a broad english accent, although I might have imagined that to spice the movie up, I nearly choked on my coke
