Move into the white house and become the last president.

Have the biggest gun collection in the world. The 16 inch guns on the USS Missouri would do for a start.

Fire a few nukes at Russia just for fireworks.

Wonder around nude just because i could.

Find the most expensive yachts i could and use them as my boats to travel around the world.

Start railroad trains and let them run free. till they crashed.

Fill a train with explosives and put a one hour fuse on it and send it on its way.
then set on a hill top and wait for the mushroom cloud when it went off.

I'd scratch my head and search the skies,
I'd be so proud for being so wise
I'd vote and win the Nobel Prize
It's clear I'd win, you see.

I'd lower prices, be the king.
I'd ease restrictions on everything.
I'd make new rules to break them,
once I saw they weren't for me.

I'd study hard, about a week,
and give myself a PhD.
To diagnose the splitting
of my personality

Alone, I would no longer be
I'd share my thoughts, and share my tea
I'd outlaw stupid poetry
I didn't want to read

If all the people left and I was the only person left, I would NOT be lonely, I am pretty darn sure, after about 2 years of talking to myself and plants and animals, I would have reached a level of comfortable insanity

With that being said, It wouldn't be that bad, and I would probably be in search of some astral projection in consciousness, hoping to unlock a different reality.

I would play a lot of video games too.

Do some genetic testing and try to save the human race by creating a semi-human organism animal...

The responses to this topic raise the question of the average age of the members here.

From a more mature perspective I would:

Ask the question of "why me". Why was I spared or forgotten when compared to everyone else.

Locate necessary equipment to perform an assessment of my environment. Radiation monitoring equipment, bacteriological equipment. Are there dead bodies present or has everyone just disappeared. Am I a sole survivor or am I just dying slower?

Assure that I had a safe & well stocked dwelling in which to preserve the most important life on earth, (my own).

Acquire a versatile firearm and ammunition to protect myself from hungry animals. This would quickly become a problem when owners were no longer there to care for them.

Locate & setup a source of electrical power and a HAM radio set in order to see if the entire world was affected or just my town, state, country etc.

Once I had a reasonable certainty that there was no one else on the planet, I would travel to an area where resources were abundant and establish my home and create a self sufficient system with electricity, water, food, fuel, transportation , security and communication equipment . I would also want it to be on a hilltop to allow unrestricted views of the Heavens. From there I would locate a large library and transport a large portion of it to my dwelling where I would begin research and reconstruction of a working life sustaining environment where I would be responsible for my own healthcare and provisioning. I would also assemble a group of livestock and a couple of large guard dogs for protection and companionship.

What I would view as an end result would be a comfortable life with the best in wines, books & music. I would devote my leisure hours to religious research and recording in long lasting written format the story of man and my own journal of solitary existence. I would strive to become one with my God, My Planet and My Universe......

Well I think I would start out with looking at all the pictures of people that I loved in life. I would recall all the good things that those people brought me and wondering why I didn't spend more time with the ones I loved.

Why I wasn't a more compassionate person when everyone in the world was here, why I didn't take every waking moment and live it to it's fullest with others in the world.

Why I separated myself from others, when others were in the world.

Then out of absolute despair I would find myself the most expensive Ferrari dealership with the latest model and take it on a one way trip, all the while thinking that not a single person was there to see me drive it.

Then I would move on to the next level.

"If you were the last person left on Earth"

I would think I was in Hell or Purgatory.

First post for quite a while, and saw this one so heres what I would do.

Go to Portsmouth and take one of the Royal Navy vessels - Ark Royal will do - and make my way to america. Once their i would go to the nearest airport and grab myself an aircraft. I would then fly to Area 51 and land there.

I'd have a look at what was there and search for Aurora. Take an Alien spacecraft and then make a dash to washinton and launch nukes at Russia. (That'll teach them for assulting Gerogia) and then I would go into Orbit and see if the ISS Astronauts have survived and if yes, take on board and go find another speices

If it were winter, I'd be forced to build a fire to keep warm. Obviously I'd burn A LOT of $100 bills in the process. Next I'd look for an animal companion. Maybe a horse or a dog. Then I'd look for a suitable dwelling. Not too big, cause there wouldn't be any power. I'd raid supermarkets and salvage canned goods to store them in an enclosed area. Same with pharmacies for meds. Also, I'd get my hands on as much gasoline as possible for the many vehicles I'd drive.
I probably would get drunk a lot too.

I would have lots of sex. A lot of girls told me they would have sex with me if I was the last person on Earth.

Break into Area 51 only to be brutally killed by automatic defence weapons and/ or brain eating Reptilian beasts, probably. (They don't count as 'people' damn their scaly hides!)

If last person on earth see if the astronauts are alive on station, if not then I'll be just shutting down coal fired power stations and factories, and then just launch every single nuclear weapon and aim at the US

At first I would be extremely sad and depressed, then I would become manic and reckless and finally if I survive the mania I would devote the rest of my life into trying to clone myself.

I would probably gather as much porn as I could, and go live in a mansion with monkeys and lemurs.

Why monkeys and lemurs?

I guess it would depend on why I was the only one left. Firstly, I'd assume that I wasn't the only one left on the whole planet. I'd think it highly unlikely that I was anything special.

If it was from a disease (anyone else watching "Survivors"?) I'd leave the city and find a small farm. Keep livestock and grow food. Occasionally going off into the city for anything I might need.

Actually, whatever the reason, I'd leave the area I'm in and find a secluded farm.

I'd probably also seek a way to communicate with anyone else out there, because I'd refuse to believe that it was just me.

I'd keep a record of events and document my time, just in case there were any future generations.

I'd be sad at losing my friends and family, but I'd be incredibly content just living my life the way I wished.

If I were the last person on earth.....

I would have to shutdown all nuclear plants (hopefully they have a manual there in the plant so I could safely shut it down before it pops because of lack of maintenance. Then I would gather all ammo and guns, fortify, so I could defend my planet from residents of Planet X when it arrives.

Then I would find out all the knowledge I could (Area 51, raid all govt files and facilities, hit the NSA warehouse for all the "secret weapons we don't know about", Vatican city... Have fun driving that Lamborghini I always wanted but couldn't afford. Maybe park a Harrier jet in my driveway too since I would not have a dang homeowners association to answer to.

That'll keep me busy for a while.... But what about all those reptilians still roaming the planet posing as people???
