Were these giant mile long formations found on Google Earth ever debunked?

I thought I had more but I think this is all I have:

As you can see, the length is represented. That's about 2,000 miles long, and it's in an odd shape, and was seen by many people the days before Oct. 14th(Which I'm sure many of you remember)

But were those ever debunked? Or unexplained?

Yeah, I remember the thread. Not entirely, but from what I gathered it was a fairly common glitch. Nothing more.

If I recall correctly, those were explained as just glitches and missing data. I remember first seeing it - the clouds would be flat against the shape if it were a physical ship in the sky, in the pictures they have jagged edges.

google earth isn't a reliable source for anything paranormal as there are possibly multiple explanations for them ... just a personal opinion though

lol@debunked.

let's see, did anyone debunk a 2,000 mile long spaceship hovering over earth that blotted out a shape of a super star destroyer.

hmm let me think...

probably about 10,000,000 second graders debunked it while at recess.

i think about 100,000,000 american idol fans debunked it while busy watching tv.

and i'm almost certain about 1,000,000,000 chinese debunked it when they didn't give a ....
