Children forced into cell-like school seclusion rooms

Its the dollar being saved by the school board thats the problem. To mainstream these kids in all cases is simply an ignorant idea. Some of the kids could not function at all.

Ahhh, the real problem is here, special needs kids "Mainstreamed" because the parents don't want to incur more expenses for their child, so by law(varies by State) they can put them in regular school classes, and like Zindo said some of them can't even function. Ususally there's no special ed teacher because of a plethora of reasons, so an untrained teacher gets to deal with a semi-functional special needs child yelling spitting pissing and crapping all while trying to educate the other children that are there to learn not be baby sat so mommy and daddy can have a break.
I don't have the answers other than as long as you are in the "system" you will live by their rules, I really respect home schoolers they opt out of the system, our top freshman girl student only takes test at the local high school. her parents care and either take the time or pay the money.
I think what happens to these kids is crap, but what would you do? keep ruining other kids education? I wish we could have the voucher system so private schools could compete with the Gov't schools, but the local cash cow public schools always convince voters it would ruin their precious football,basketball sports.
