Say for instance that everyone sees the 12-21-2012, as their own death date. Like when you see 12-21-2012 it actually says when I read it 5-17-2039. Of course it would have to be audible too, so when they say the XX-XX-XXX date, you would hear what day you are supposed to die. Its just something to think about.

With the number being tailored specifically to the person, you wouldnt be able to tell anyone, because they would then hear their date. Seems like a twilight episode.

Can you rephrase what you just posted?

I am confused as all get-out.

i agree with the above, you are going to have to clarify quite a bit.

Interesting existential idea you got there (if i understand correctly) but severely lacking any logic. I can see why people are confused about wtf you are trying to say, but I have had similar ideas and thoughts, like 'what if the color red that i see actually looks like blue to someone else'

If i understand correctly, you basically think you are the only one that is going to die on 2012-12-21 and that reality is somehow 'messing with you' and hence reality completely revolves around you. In some ways you are correct, but for the most part, you are just confused. I like the way you think though

My personal opinion on that date is that we ALL die, but death turns out to be really awesome. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I have never believe I would live to an old age, and always thought I would die around age 30. I turn 30 in 2012.

Although I still have no clue what the poster is talking about the color thing you mention has been debated in my family for years lol

The only real way to know the answer would be to have transplanted eyes and part of the brain re-transplanted into someone else that causes the color to be projected to the brain in order to see if what I think is blue the other person also sees the color blue as it is interpreted in my own eyes and brain.

After all if you showed a child the color blue and told them it was orange they would learn and believe it was orange if no one corrected them. It also lends credence to where some people think one color is say dark purple and another person swears it is maroon.

But I still have no idea of what the op is talking about.

Oh sh*t!!!! LMAO! I wonder the same thing! What if everything that is happening in the world is just 'My reality' that'll be cool, if I created it some how, with this NWO, Science, and religious stuff. Maybe all the millions of people in prison and thier families aren;t really suffering, may be thats just a part of my reality to put some depth in my world?

I ponder this many a times.

The only thing thats gonna die on December 21, 2012 is Religion, Government and everything else that is wrong with this world.

I hope your right I'm so tired of religion. they should call it something else. I think religion should be anything that has to do with the divine, just something to leave by

I don't really understand the original post but the comment about the subjective nature of colour is a little interesting.

I'm trying to get my head around it, you must be able to equate colour to it's individual wavelength of light and then transfer that into a number. For instance the wavelength of red light is around 650 nanometers so anytime anyone sees 650 nm of light its red. But then that just leads back to the individuals interpretation of colour. Maybe theres an answer somewhere in the fact that the spectrum of light seems to evolve,

red slightly darker than orange, orange darker than yellow etc.

So someone couldn't see what i call dark blue when it's yellow to me because yellow is lighter than orange and dark blue isn't. Does that make sense?

I've often thought about the color wave lengths also and it might be what shows us a solid true color but then began to think what if each persons brain and eyes interprets that wave length and because of the brains interpretation it actually look like something different to each individual.

This also can go along with taste. It could explain why people are so diverse and like different colors and foods. Maybe the brain is interpreting something different for each individuals physical senses. I hate yogurt so much that when I take even one spoon of it I get physically sick and puke, how do I know that my brain has interpreted the taste correctly maybe my brain interprets it to taste like doggy diarrhea. (That's about what it reminds me of tase wise anyway)

So is the op referring to this but on a scale of global proportions?

Hey, I'm sorry about any confusion, but if I input it into the color problem, the other poster said, than it would look like this:

"'what if the color red that i see actually looks like blue to someone else'"

it would be:

"what if the date 12-21-2012 that I see actually says 5-15-2032 to someone else"

Basically, meaning that the date, represented by XX-XX-XXXX is your death date, and everybody when viewing that date, actually see's the date they are going to die.

Ha, I dont think the world revolves around me, if my thought on 12-21 were right, it would just mean that each persons world would revolve around themselves.

And just to add, I dont think anything is going to happen on 12-21-2012, and if anything does, its going to be beneficial to humanity. I read the book "Mysteries of 2012" in about 3 days (i was a lazy *** security guard at the time). About 90% of articles in the book pointed to the next step in evolution.
