Bird Flu Outbreak Confirmed in West Bengal

www.abc.net.au

An outbreak of bird flu has been confirmed in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Health authorities conducted laboratory tests after thousands of dead chickens were found in two villages.
The results confirmed an outbreak of the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu.
...
There have been no reported cases of human infections, but health authorities are taking precautions because of fears the virus could mutate and combine with seasonal influenza.

What does everyone think of this impending bird flu epidemic? Are we being sold another line here? There's constant talk of H5N1 mutating and crossing to humans, are we being buttered up for the 'big event'?

The pharmaceutical industry has been selling stockpiles of bird-flu vaccine to governments around the world in case of a breakout, but how can you make a vaccine for a virus that hasn't yet mutated into what it may become...?

Unless, of course, you have created a mutated version of it yourself...

Two years on...

The big 'Avian Flu' scare was nothing but a flash-in-the-pan, along with SARS and Swine Flu.

And yet, the WHO, UN, world governments, big pharma and the media had us all of us convinced that millions of us would die.

Now, was this just a ploy to sell more drugs, or is this a 'cry wolf' scenario so that when 'the real deal' comes along, we all just ignore it, skip the shots and really end up dying by the million?
