First off for some reason my computer isn't letting me take a screenshot of it so I'll put the coordinates. It's quite easy to spot.

I clicked on pluto and basically just kept pressing the down arrow aimlessly scrolling through looking for stuff of interest. At -23 ° 1` 10.9" I found something weird. A cluster of bright orange objects the midd of which seems to have been cut out. (Its got the usual black squares that show up on google earth when things have been cut out)

Anyone got an idea what this is? And can anyone who's comps working take a screen shot if its anything of interest?

Sorry I have no idea and without a pic I cant see any one being able to help that much. Im useless at the best of times with computers
I still cant work out how to put an image up on screen in a post, so Ive got no chance with finding Pluto from co ordinates on goole Earth and THEN posting the picture. Sorry as it does sound interesting and maybe someone else can help.

When i try to enter those co-ordinates, its tells me ''no result found''

Hope someone else can help.

Oh thats weird...a best way to find it would be to click on the solar system tab and then click on Pluto, that will take you directly to pluto and then just keep scrolling down until you come to it. It's pretty hard to miss and you'll know what I mean when you see it. A big mass of yellow and orange with a square section in the middle blocked out.

Sorry I can't be more help getting an image up but I'm not the best at using a computer

Got it to work...dunno exactly what it is. A few degrees south theres a bigger one too, if this is of interest I'll get a picture of that too.

Apologies if it's nothing at all by the way. Just thought it looked interesting and wanted to know if anyone here knew what it was.

I see those all them time on programs like that. It looks like they used two images. One basic image, and then A clearer close up cluster of images to make it look clearer.

I doubt its any conspiracy.

I'm guessing that the centre bit has been taken with a different telescope and it has been overlayed??

I'm one of those people who has an over active imagination and sees faces in anything - curtains ect. Here's my first face of the day ha,ha, This was from trying to enter those coordinates 0f yours and got a bit lost, to me this looks like a goblin type thing waving,

Pluto isn't in, Plutos a little bit up out of screen. To be honest I couldn't find which of the number of coloured spots was actually pluto but according to Google Sky it was somewhere there.

Anyway I guess it wasn't anything been blocked out then. Just google have somehow cocked the image up so it looks weird

Anyway heres another odd thing I found

www.google.com...,1499,2193,2195,12

Sure it's something natural but anywhere with spacey knowledge know what it is?

You mean the Messier 22? That is just a globular cluster. Here is a link to a good website that explains it.
