What is that picture supposed to mean? I don't get it? What do you mean the picture says it all?

First off its curious that that soldier has no name tag, rank, or insignia on him that identifies him as a U.S serviceman. In addition that Iraqi boy has very good english for someone so young in a non-english speaking country, he is even versed in U.S Marine Corps ranks, and american slang. This could indicate this was a posed picture intended to support anti-american sentiment. Either that or the sign was altered in an imaging program for the same reason.

All this shows is that some people have enough time on their hands to twist good will and hope into political agendas.
If the war was so unjust and our soldiers so bad, why do these people have to resort to blatant forgery?

The soldier wrote the message to take the piss and got the kid to hold it up. The kid probably thinks it meant something completely different.

thats remotely possible I guess, but why would a soldier do that? It only makes him and everyone in the military look bad. If he did, it would be for his own personal use, I doubt he would just hand it over to the press that would probably get him in trouble with his commander. Jokes are one thing but this would go way too far.

Does anyone have any reliable info on this picture? because if it just popped out of nowhere then its probably fake. too many things don't add up.

There is one way to get to the bottom of it all...send it to Snopes. I don't know if this one is real. It may be...
