New Member just saying HI!

The site suggested I come here and kinda introduce myself more or less, so here we go. I'm a firm believer in science, facts, and evidence. Without these all you have is myth, hearsay, and speculation. I never take anything i hear or am told at face value and instead prefer to reasearch and find out for myself. I enjoy philosophy, the paranormal, cryptoarcheology, cryptozoology, egyptology, and Star Wars movies! I'm also a comic book geek, but don't let that throw you off. I LOVE physics because I'm sure all the answes are in there somewhere, however I have a wicked bad math deficet so I'm kind of a spectator only on those discussions. I look forward to reading all the cool discussions on this site and maybe I'll have a thing or two to add.

There's plenty to "get into" here, and we welcome skeptics, especially those with an open minded way of looking at the evidence. (One of our mods, Byrd, is about as fact oriented as one could get.)

To start you off, here's a link to some threads that are very handy. Also, here's the T&C, which is important to our smooth running community.

Welcome to ATS!! I won't hold it against you that you're a comic book geek - in fact, I'm married to one. It was a bit annoying in the beginning but I'm used to it now. Heck, I'm even taking great pleasure from his comic book geekness now that he's making money on it. My new motto is "Create all you want so your 4 daughters and I can spend more and save the economy!"

I'm sure you'll enjoy the time you spend on ATS and I bet you might even find yourself getting addicted as time goes on.
