Pros:

Finding out everything there is to know

Being able to do whatever you want, because you have the time to do it.

Cons:

Everyone, everything you ever loved, would die and you would have to live without it, look for another person to love, knowing that they would die. Its a vicious cycle.

Hell Yeah I would love to be immortal, but only if I get to keep my youth. After all what's the point of being immortal if you look like a 2000 year old egyptian mummy LMAO!!

Hell ya I'd want to become immortalized. Just thinking of the kick-ass movies and technological advances that i'll miss after I die, makes me want to be around forever. And I'm pretty sure I can get around the people that I know dying... After a While I'd get used to it...

Absolutely, anyone that says life would get boring living forever offend me. There are so many infinit possibilites and anyone that does not see this obviously doesn't love life enough.

Anyway though it's impossible, this solar system will end eventually anyway.

Only bad thing is that everyone you know will eventually die, then along the line you could be the only human left.

I'd do it, but I want eternal youth.

Whoever said life is dull is on crack, theres so much to do and with immortality theres endless possibilities hell you could literaly have every job on this planet, minus suicide bomber.

I have fun and enjoy and laugh because I know for a fact that there isn't going to be a tomorrow always, I am going to die one day.

I don't want to be immortalized.

hell no I wouldn't want to be immortal...maybe live an extra few thousand years (and not age), but think about it...you live FOREVER...you are always going to be around, even when the world blows up, or who knows what...you have to stop living at some point, I would not want to live forever and ever and ever and ever............

Now that I think about it.. it would suck... Imagine being on earth when the sun explodes... the Earth would be obliterated, and if you were immortal, you would survive this. Now imagine orbiting the black hole in the middle of the our galaxy for millions and millions of years, before actually being sucked into the black hole... and of course you would survive this if you were immortal. And if Black Holes are actually these "Black Stars" that some people call them, you would be stuck on this thing, unable to move, for all of eternity... until at least the "Big Crunch" or something happens. So I change my response to, I'd like to extend my life to at least a few thousand years before man-kinds extinction/destruction with no aging.

Living forever beats the hell out of being dead forever

I'd rather die in a couple billion years, rather than just live forever... Like I said in my previous post... Once earth is destroyed... You gonna just be floating there for very, very, very long time... But who knows... Maybe you'll land on an alien planet, similar to ours...
