We all see these, every other week or month a new thread on martial law this and martial law that. Look out for the incursion of the government on our rights and liberties...it is always the same. But, is it only rumor and just fear mongering.
No, it is sadly enough, truth. Some thing which has been reworked and originates from the past, which were set up as part of a continuity of government.

Just with a twist, it involves resolutions for domestic controls.

Some thing I have said in the threads of yesteryear and will repeat again since it has been awhile is:

If they declare martial law, then I countermand that by declaring Civil Law. If people know what they are up against then there should be no reason to be afraid. Let alone spread the bogus stories of how powerful the government is.

They are no better than any one else, just regular people, who have let their supposed and alleged power get to their corrupt heads. These so called officials have no more power than the people allow them to have. So long as the general populace remains ignorant of the truths, then the abuses will continue.

If you are serious about wanting to know what to do, then you must know what your up against. It is easy enough, just read the history and follow up on the following links. This is just a basic starting point, and further digging for better preparedness is advised.

In essence, the contemporary roots of militarized efforts to suppress domestic rebellion lie in the US Army's master plan, Department of Defense Civil Disturbance Plan 55-2, Garden Plot.

On July 29, 1967, President Johnson issued Executive Order 11365, establishing the National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders.

PENTAGON DIRECTIVES

Department of Defense Directive 3025.12, Military Assistance for Civil Disturbances (MACDIS) became effective on February 4, 1994 when signed by then Defense Secretary William Perry.

The militarization of domestic "law enforcement" is founded, in part, upon Department of Defense Directive 5525.5, DoD Cooperation with Civilian Law Enforcement Officials, dated January 15, 1986, five years after Congressional "drug warriors" passed the Military Cooperation with Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies Act.
