Are You REALLY paying TOO MUCH?

This is just something that makes me so curious, and I'm always asking people who live in other places how much they pay for basic grocery items compared to what I'm paying. It gives me a general idea if I'm getting ripped off or not.
I realize that many of us live in various parts of the world and that our currency values are vastly different. So please just post whatever the value is where you live, and if you are able to convert it to a different currency that's fine, if not, that's fine too. Also, if you have noticed HOW MUCH the price of any item has gone up or down recently.
Basic List:
Loaf of Bread
Milk
Dozen Eggs
Toilet Paper
Breakfast cereal
Apples/ other fruit
Meat per pound ie: Beef, Chicken,Turkey
Potatoes

So my list goes like this..
North/ Central Ontario Canada
Bread-$1.69 is the cheapest bread
Milk-$4.59 for a 4 liter bag
Dozen Eggs- $2.69
Toilet Paper-$4.99 for 24 rolls
Cereal- $4.99 for a 350-450g box
Apples-$3.69 for a 5 pound bag, Bananas $0.69 per pound
Meat I find very expensive, and only buy the cheapest cuts, or reduced.
Potatoes $2.29 for a 10 pound bag.

I'll find out about the meat prices tomorrow, we are going to a meat store.
Your prices don't seem that bad. Our food prices in Washington state are not horrible, milk though depending on which store gets up to 4.oo per gallon of white and 6.00 per gallon of chocolate.
