Hi All,

This discovery indeed looks facinating. Particularily if they are as old as claimed. If its true what he says then the characters are from an alphabeth used in Arabia a long time before BC.
I have tried in vane to find these characers on google earth, anybody else want to try? He does not provide coordinates only the general area.

Regards

G.

Sorry but I couldn't see anything but natural formations?

The images are sure hard for me to spot. The highlighted images make it much easier in the source link.
I would think the biggest thing to finding out what all of this means is for some one to post what the ancient letters mean that were also carved into the rock.

I initially thought the title was a reference to Blackpool.
(Sorry - that will only make sense to UK readers.)

An interesting claim. Unfortunately the video showing the terrain is only a simulation.

"I have a very simple explanation for those who don't believe me," Mr Veall says. "If I gave you the co-ordinates of the site, a million people would find it immediately. When you know where it is, it's obvious."

"But we want to secure and preserve the site until we can get a scientific team to have a look at it."

Until the coordinates are actually provided many will wonder whether it's a hoax.

Absolutely fascinating if this turns out to be a genuine discovery, though.

Yes thats close, the exact cordinates are

Character Carvings:
13°48'1.17"S
74°59'16.55"W

Sacred Sheep:
13°54'49.69"S
74°55'48.90"W

3 Faces:
13°56'51.83"S
74°57'8.41"W

In my opinion the sheep and faces have more to do with natural erosion due to what looks like a river running down the back side of the sheep.
The character carvings though...now thats interesting
