I have experienced this too, i think. I tend to notice it being 9:11. It freaks me out actually. Like, why is this time jumping out at me?

I have the experience of waking up at precisely 7.51am every morning for the past week. I never set the alarm and nothing would disturb my slumber but without fail, every time I check my cell phone time it show 7.51am. The time add ups to 13 and further add to 4. Well, in western concept 13 is a bad number and for chinese no. 4 also means death or bad luck. I would brush it off as coincidence but the precise thing happened to me last year during April. I would wake up at 5.53am every morning for also about a week. As you can see it also adds up to 13 and 4. Not very long after that, things start turning bad i.e. business went down and lost alot of money plus credit crisis.
I hope it is not warning me about something bad coming up. H1N1 might spiral out of control? or even bigger crisis will blow. With the solar eclipse round the corner you will never know.

I usually look at the clock at around 9:11 am and pm. My girlfriend told me that its bad luck to look at the clock at 9:11.

I would give you a comforting advice if its of any help:

Consider it normal
It happens to many many people, even the best of us like you and me for example, so relax its OK! Its definitely not bad luck.
In fact the whole numerology behind 9:11 is *#%@#*$ and is only related to stress and sorrow becoming a reference point that attracts attention even unconsciously. It can be contagious.

If it weren't for the events of 9/11 you would probably never have noticed... Recapping: You are OK/NORMAL and there is no bad luck associated.

I am going to tie my experiences into this thread, please bear with me...

First, I do not have a clock in my bedroom hence no alarm. If I plan on waking up at 5am or any time I mentally set,I do, usually right on the money or within a couple of minutes. Same goes on taking a, say 30min, nap.( I check by my watch on the dresser)

Are our minds so acustom to man-made cyclical time to not have to have an external time piece? And if so, you seeing the same time could have been a coincidence the first time and you made a conscience note of it and then your sub-conscience clock set itself to let your conscience self aware of the coincidence thus another coincidence.

This could be literally your mind playing tricks on you!
