Heike's Simple Avatars

I'm not really a great graphic artist or anything, but I can crop and size, put text on pictures, and do simple stuff.

If you want a really fancy work of art for an avatar, don't post here!

But if you want something more simple, an image cropped or sized, or your name or a logo put onto something for your avatar, I'd be happy to help you out.

Can you fix mine? Shows up now as "exceeds bandwidth" (like I know how to fix that!). Any ideas? Suggestions? Love the pegasus one, btw.

You need to activate your free ATS media account and host your avatar from there.

All avatars and images posted in posts have to be hosted from there soon anyway.

Go to Media @ AboveTopSecret.com, login with the same name and password you use for ATS, and set up your account.

On the far right at the top there's a drop down menu labeled "My Account." Click on that to open the menu, select "My Pictures" and you'll see your (empty) photo album and the option to "upload photo." After you've uploaded a photo, selecting it from the album provides a URL labeled "Use as ATS Avatar". Copy the url from the box, paste it into the Avatar url in your MemCenter, and it should show up. No more bandwidth issues!

I'll find someone to translate computereze at which point, I'm sure your instructions will prove helpful. Thank you. It's all there; I just don't speak the same language.

When I go to this page I do not see a drop down for My account, I am getting very frustrated. Please, help.
