Future Movie: Battle of Los Angeles

Looks like Hollywood is going to take on the famous "Battle of Los Angeles" scenario which happened on February 25th, 1942. The movie is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman and will star Aaron Eckhart.

The title Battle: Los Angeles says it all. The sci-fi actioner finds a marine platoon protecting Los Angeles from an alien invasion. Christopher Bertolini scripted the film directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Columbia will distribute what's been described as the West Coast Cloverfield.

Hollywood has always been a big fan of "UFO" movies and the box office results brings is millions upon millions of dollars. What do you guys think about this upcoming movie? Would you be interested in seeing their take on this event? I certainly would.

I had only heard of this after joining this site but this is the first I have researched more about it. Thank you for posting all the links!

That is just crazy! It sounds like we had all out war with a "Blimp" for a decent amount of time yet the "Blimp" didn't come down lol. I can't wait to see what Hollywood does with this as I'm a sucker for alien and end of the world type movies.
