Though it's not sharp, I can still feel it. It's the worst when I'm laying flat on my stomach, and breath in. I can put pressure the area from the outside, and it's painless, though if I'm bending over, (Sometimes), or just laying down on my bed, it'll hurt. (Usually during or after breathing in).

I could provide more details for the pain itself if anyone needs them. My best guess would be strained stomach muscles, but that wouldn't explain when it hurts when breathing in, while my body is on a different incline.

Can anyone provide some insight on this?

EDIT: It may be pertinent, but recently I've started taking more pain killers than should be necessary, (If you catch my drift). They contain acetemetophin, which I know isn't healthy to the liver. As far as I am aware, liver pain is on the right side, below the ribcage. The pain has been on and off for a few days. It isn't there while standing, or sitting in a normal position. I usually only feel it when bent over, or laying down, (Regardless of sleeping position).

Hi there,

I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but one thing you should definitely be aware of is the location of the intercostal muscles. They are in that general area, and if you've pulled something it would hurt when breathing in.

If you're concerned about your liver you should most definitely see a doctor. Liver problems can be detected by a simple blood test.

In any event, it would be my recommendation as a fellow layman in the medical field to go for a checkup. At the very least it will put your mind at ease.

I would recommend seeing a Doc for any chest pain, especially if you have pain when you breathe.

It could be it is just a back issue, something out in between your shoulder blades, that can happen quite easily, but I would get a check either way, just to rule it out.

Common knowledge that if initial chest pain is checked asap, within the first 20 minutes of onset of pain, a major heart attack can be prevented.

It can be many things, colic, stomach issues (gall blader, pancreas) can give similar pain to heart issues so best to get a medical professional's opinion

all the best with it

oh edit to add. I wasn't sure of what the medicine you were taking was so I did a search:
It is called Tylerno?
If so, there are side effects:

Tylenol
Generic Name: acetaminophen (oral/rectal) (a see ta MIH no fen)
Brand Names: Anacin-3 Maximum Strength, Childrens Tylenol, Tylenol Caplet, Caplet Extra Strength, Gelcap Extra Strength, Suspension

Tylenol side effects
If you experience any of the following rare but serious side effects, stop taking Tylenol and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);

liver damage (yellowing of the skin or eyes, nausea, abdominal pain or discomfort, unusual bleeding or bruising, severe fatigue);

blood problems (easy or unusual bleeding or bruising).

Other, less serious side effects are not known to occur.

Side effects other than those listed here may occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

I didn't make a trip to the doctor. The pain seems to have gone away, so I'm assuming it was my first guess, the strained abdominal muscles.
